disagree with Barker over Ojo. Ojo might dissapear sometimes or be frustrating but the fact of the matter he has end product. Goals and assists, he has played 11 games so far and has 4 goals and 4 assists. Its that simple and on that basis I cannot see him being or want him dropped on the back of Barkers 45 minute cameo.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think Ojo is reeking of schite tbf.

Should be a striker because all he can do is finish.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
you cant use the murphy "end product" argument then dismiss it when it comes to Ojo.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's not the same Murphy was involved in the game and provided thrust going forward plus end product.

Ojo can finish, shown nothing else.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
all he can do is finish ... he has just as many assists tho?

He is our third top scorer behind Morelos and Defoe and also has the most assists for us this season

So...

A fit Ryan jack doing an 11k run is absolutely out of order and ridiculous

but

a player that has been out for a long time being pushed into a return due to other injuries makes perfect sense?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's been training for months and playing reserve football, he's been managed but he has to be reintroduced at some point but typically a Tim would have an issue with it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

and typically a bear would think that players doing running on international duty is outrageous

That's right....he had to be reintroduced....at some point. Not necessarily starting against Livingston at home.
Tbf...probably not Gerrard's fault. He's entitled to rely on the advice of the physios and medical staff.

Rangers players mentioned on this thread, Kent, Ojo, Barker, Murphy, Arfield, Jones, hope I am not missing anyone but all in all that list over the course of a season wont be troubling the league, just my opinion so don't go mental please
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You missed Jack from that bang average list.

Impressive stats boosted by Europa diddies.

I've not enjoyed watching him, so often play breaks down with him. Hope he's got more to his game to show.

How exactly was Kent ‘pushed into a return due to other injuries ‘?

Sorry but that is just uninformed pash.

Rangers first choice front three for the majority of the season has been Ojo Morelos and Arfield - all of whom were fit at the weekend.

Jack was out but Kamara or King could easily have filled in.

SG chose to use Arfield in midfield instead because in his view Kent was fit and ready.

take said "european diddies" out the equation (who IMO are still better than 90% of the dmoestic teams we face) And Morelos has 3 goals as oppose to 13.

Like I said those diddies would no doubt put out all the clubs in our country barring celtic if they played them in europe

No I didn't and I'm not sure I get your drift.

What was wrong with my comment?

Was it absolutely essential to put him straight in the team against Livingston...a match that Rangers were overwhelming favourites to win without him?

Or was it actually Gerrard's fault?

Or is he not entitled to rely on the advice of his staff?

Tell me the daft part or parts.

St Josephs wouldn't be in the top flight. Progres about Hamilton level.

The other two were decent outfits.

Good to see there are Rangers fans capable of reading comments and not foaming at the mouth to find a way to dislike it when it is written by a Celtic fan

Ojo could be our Sinclair? seems to do not aw that much but can end the season with a barrowload of goals/assists?

I'll take a player in the squad who can give you that, even starting them on occassion, not seen enough or Ojo, Sinclair is frustrating but can get said goals/assists

Whilst talking about SG and his decision making, hypothetically (and its has a decent chance of happening) if Celtic win the league this year should Rangers board sack him or keep him going into a season where he would be under pressure to stop 10.

The reason I ask is on SSB the other day it was a topic for debate and the response from both pundits and callers was around 50/50.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Stopping 10 will be given as a job to the only man who can step into the role and go for it

It would as usual depend on how we finished second.

Very close - Yes he would get another year
Within 10 points - Probably
Less than - No

Sherbet is schooling Fash quite brilliantly this morning.

Not sure how you can dismiss Ojo because of goals against European diddies whilst bumping up Murphy for a clip that showed him terrorise the likes of Ayr, Hamilton and Motherwell.
