It was a foul last night though.
Liverpool fans moaning about players throwing themselves to the ground.
Also thought Liverpool would get more decisions because of VAR
i dont think last nights was a penalty but you see penalties given for your side for that or less. You'll have to get used to it im afraid. VAR is bullsheit
Dry your eyes Liverpool

Says the leagues top divers last season
There was nothing in that decision that was clearly and obviously wrong, even the pundits had differing opinions. He may have or may have not been falling over however there was clear contact of the knees

You couldn’t make it up!
It is a contact sport and there was contact so cannot be a penalty.
seems like the $puds are coming crawling out of their caves after a 3 1/2 month hibernation since failing to show up for the biggest night in their history. Poor little guys
I don't think it will be a failure at all. They will just tweak it so it works better. The first step for me is taking away the clear and obvious error term which includes the highly subjective nature that VAR was supposed to reduce.
How anybody can say it was a penalty is beyond me.

Why were they in a one and a half month hibernation?

Can you give some examples of Liverpool getting penalties for less?
I think it will settle down and benefit the game moving forward but I found last nights and the weekends decision baffling tbh, especially the Matip one.
TBH initially I thought it probably wasn't a penalty and tbh after looking at the penalty even if I wasn't convinced, it was still one where you can see it be given however there was nothing VAR could have done to rule it out as it there wasn't any clear and obvious that would lead to the original decision being overruled
Absolutely nailed on penalty anyway, not sure why the Liverpool fans are moaning, they get penalties like that every week. Salah goes down when he has been hit by a feather. He was at it last night, going down under every little contact.

I thought it was a dive when I first saw it and after the replay I was laughing, expecting it to be overruled. Couldn't believe it when it stood.
Robinson shouldnt of stuck his leg out. He had the right to go down after Robinson did that
It's not VAR itself, it's how it's implemented is the problem. It's still in its infancy and will evolve.

I dont think anyone can say that's anything other than a dive with any credibility.
Anyway, it was a good game I thought and shpuld be a good return when they come to Anfield.

Dry your eyes out mate. Salah actually gets impeded. contact is made. Unlike Harry Kane and co.
Napoli seem to be a weird biget for us. We should beat them st home though and tbh should.have drawn last night.

Was there contact on the Napoli player last night?
He made the most of what was a terrible lunge by Robertson. Barry has a point!
