What's wrong with Wolves this year?

They’ve done a shiiit version of what Leicester did. Peaked early, achieved way beyond what anyone was expecting and now distracted with European football

And like Leicester of 2016, everyone knows what to expect - counter attacking football with no plan B

Lol, everyone was like Wolves will challenge for top 6 and... they just won't. They're pretty crap aren't they.

It was obvious this was coming, Wolves weren’t ever as good as many made them out to be.

Too many Portugeezers. They need a Brexit.

The impression I got from Nuno was that he was pretty one-dimensional and got worked out after a while. Sounds like it could be similar again.

They're the Burnley of last season, this season.

Probably over-performed last year with close to no pressure of expectation.

Probably under-performing atm, they still have quality players.

Will settle somewhere in between last years form and this years imo. Good solid upper mid table team.

He’s a poor man’s Mourinho.

Why do this

Do what?

You've insulted Mourinho like 50 times over the last few days. What did he ever do to you?

I fear this may not be too far from the truth, he is certainly a very rigid, defensive manager and when you set up that way it doesn't take much for it all to go wrong. Laughable that anyone could compare us to Burnley though and shows how little some folk know about the game.

Talk of top six was ridiculous once we had seen what the summers business was, we had a chance to kick on and didn't add the players and now our squad is being exposed with the extra games. We don't have an attacking option in midfield outside of two untested youngsters in MGW and Neto to change a game and that just doesn't cut it at the top table.

We won't be getting relegated but this season will be quite a come down after last years efforts. Before it began i was happy if we made say the last 16 of the EL and maybe last 8 with a favourable draw and somewhere between 8th and 12th in the league.

To be fair i don't think my hopes are going to be that far away but i am a little concerned with how negative we are becoming

There is a bizarre rumour doing the rounds that Nuno is on borrowed time and Mourinho is ready to step into the fold, it came from a few separate sources and sounds nonsensical to me but i guess Mendes is Mourinho's agent and we can certainly afford him if need be.

Lole's at the wheel....

Mourinho to Wolves? Never.

Might as well move the club to Aveiro.

posted on 20/9/19

He is, but this is about the pain Mourinho has inflicted on me.

posted on 20/9/19

Will it still be teh manager's fault when Lole fails?

posted on 20/9/19

Surely if he fails it’s his fault, by definition?

posted on 20/9/19

When United fail this season will it be Lole's fault or will it magically be Ed Woodward's fault this time?

posted on 20/9/19

It’ll be Mourinho’s fault for leaving our squad in a state.

posted on 20/9/19

Do you find it funny how Lole's major summer signing which all the Man Utd fans supported was a player that Mourinho told the club to sign a year earlier?

I think it's funny.

posted on 20/9/19

Yeah I think it’s funny that Woodward wouldn’t sign him for Mourinho and then sacked him and now he can’t get a job.
