I'm sure half the people on here are bi-polar

One win and its all Roses.

an away draw later and everything's wrong with the club

We're 3rd in the league and are 2nd in our champions league group

I dont see how that justifies 10 negative articles in one month - sure there are things to critique but this is getting sad

to be fair there are some worrying trends at the club, and there have been since Feb (CL run aside)... and then a quite unsettling summer with the eriksen verts toby situation etc... now frustration with injuries and the team making the same mistakes over and over and over and over again, with the manager making baffling selection decisions and then blaming the players for poor execution of the game plan (which seems non existent in all our current games apart from palace at home)................ its just all a bit flat

we also play pretty poor football at the moment. cannot even pass the ball properly in most games... and that is something that will never be accepted. we need to play good football.. its ingrained in the club DNA

I thought we played really well against Palace.

No point killing yourself to score 6.

it was a great performance. The spurs we got used to 2 years ago. Most home games being 4 up at HT blowing the team away and then allowed to ease off.

"Changing the defence on a game by game basis is like just about the worse thing any manager can do. All good/great teams are built on a solid back four. It is a no brainer really that Liverpool have improved untold at the back since their back four is almost set in stone these days, as Spurs used to be when they conceded very few goals with Walker, Toby, Verts and Rose in their prime."
******************
Yes, the team that came second to Leicester was the best team we've had in a while, and it should have won something.
Walker has never been replaced, and Verts, Toby and Rose are now all pushing the age barrier to playing top class football.
What we have now is a team in transition.
We are "rotating out" the old guard and bringing in the new. Eriksen is leaving, Delli Alli is in decline, perhaps temporary, and we never did get that Kane backup - Dybala.
When we get to see NDombele, Lo Celso and Sessignon on the same pitch together, we'll know how this rebuilding is progressing, or not progressing.
Finally there's the question of the manager....can he put together a winning season....win something?

I never know what to believe of what Pochettino says. Last season he said if we'd won the CL he would have left Spurs.
Believe that?
Well now...... the situation is a little bit different. Fail to win something this season ....will he go?.
Or is Levy going to intervene and make that decision for him?

Pochettino says ......
“We will see at the end of the season,” he said. “At the moment I don’t believe this is the best squad. But I think if you only see the results it’s easy to say the better squad was last season’s squad because we got to the final of the Champions League. But we will see if we can repeat, or if we win some trophies maybe we can talk about this is being the best squad.”

I read that as saying "this is my final year"

I read that as saying "whatever, guys, if you roll the dice again this year maybe we will repeat last year, maybe we can win trophies, anyway, just roll the dice... and and now I must pull some names out the hat to see who plays in the next game. If we wim we win, if we lose or maybe we will draw. Roll that dice!"

If you're right, then ..... he's definitely leaving!

It’s Pochs own fault, he never replaced Walker and didn’t get a better back up for Rose.
