41' - Gomes has completed 93% of his passes so far, with a 89% pass completion rate in the final third #mulive

Most of these passes were forwards yesterday, he’s always trying something on the swivel. I can’t believe people want Mata etc to return to the starting line up.

I’m pretty sure it had something to do with actually being able to trap a ball and pass it 5 yards without it going out for a throw in as well.

I don;t think any of them should start... But if you are . talking about short passing, pass rates etc... Mata is way up there and is highly experience in situations like a match at West Ham.

I'd like to see more of Gomes, I think he offers what we need in the final third, a link between midfield and attack as well as a good weight of pass. He's also comfortable on the ball and can turn a defender.

He reminds me a lot of D Silva in terms of his style.

Which is why I suggested him. Gomez may well be the future, so I wouldn’t be disappointed to see him start,
