It's a pity that the clubs have lost that genuine inherent overall respect for each other they always used to have despite the bawbags in both supports who want to "die" for a "cause" they nor anyone else actually have any real interest far less a belief in.

Perhaps last night and the day before might go some way to hopefully bringing that back.

I do believe that the previous frosty relationship between executives of the two clubs has improved somewhat recently

..And yes, Hamish, last night was quite something which was most likely helped with the opposition being Dutch, but to see players, management, staff and supporters all applauding was something to be proud of

Only seen snippets of last nights rangers game - hadn’t realised about the minutes applause and the game stopping - sounds a really emotional moment.

We went through it with Jinky.

That fact Fernando was so young drives it home that it can strike at any time.

It didn't officially get stopped but a good few players stood and applauded. The ball got passed about with no intent

Delayed taking a throw in

Even the ref joined in the applause

As someone who enjoys fitba but feels that situations like Fernando's are simply more important as a human being? I love that the two clubs can find common ground for a change, I remember well when it was Jinky and my Bear mates were fully respectful, I never forgot that
