He confirmed he won't resign and that he'll respect the count decision.

Pushing on to leave on October 31st.

Right has nothing to do with it Ginger, I don't dispute his right to be there, but he also had the right not to attend in person, and as for duty maybe his duty should have been to be in the country in person when the biggest legal decision in living memory was to be announced a decision directly involving him and his govt.
Boris apologist.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm not apologising for him. He doesn't need me ffs

There was nothing he could do about today being in the country or not. As things stood, parliament was in prorogation right up until 10.30 this morning so you would have wanted him to hang around to wait and see what happens when nothing would have been done until tomorrow at the very earliest?

And that decision today took everyone by surprise so yes I'd rather see our PM doing something on the world stage at such an important event as opposed to hanging around for a "what if" scenario.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Firstly that "law" is so badly written as a direct result of the hastiness of its invention so much so that parliament will likely spend quite a bit of its time trying to close the many loopholes.

Secondly and more importantly he can try for a deal but the default position is that if he doesn't get one we are out.

Thirdly, it is the decision of only the EU if we get an extension and we would have to abide by their rules if it was granted so what happens if they say "here's your 2 year extension; it will cost you £1bn a week and you must have a different government and an answer to the backstop or you stay in for another 2 years"?

All completely unacceptable to anyone

Sorry mate you are so wrong on this. I think you are becoming more desperate as the Hard Brexit slips away and you have to run home with your tail between your legs. 😃

Every single reporter and journalist have expressed nothing but shock at this decision.

Some may claim to be itk but they are just revelling in their "win".

No.

He is required to come back with a deal. Parliament will decide on whether to accept it or not. I think it's been very clear that the MP cannot agree anything without the consent of parliament.
