I wonder how many United fans would still want him at Old Trafford now?

..............

Nobb and 1982.

There is no doubting he is a decent manager who has taken Tottenham to that extra level but would he be able to do more with this team that ole right now? I think not? Whoever is there is on to a losing battle until drastic changes are made internally and players play for the shirt

He’s a better manager than Ole so it’s bewildering why some people would want us to suffer when an actual decent manager might be available

A decision we may well come to regret for a long time if we keep backing someone who so far hasn’t shown an ounce of what Poch has shown in his excellent spell at Spurs

Got to be better than Ole, but Allegri may be a better choice

But we've had better managers than poch as well so do we start again and get the next manager after the same team fails 6 months in?

We just have to go for the best possible option when we can

The weirdest comment I’ve seen on these pages over the past few months is when people say ‘we’ve had a couple of proven managers who’ve failed so let’s try an unknown’ as if that’s anywhere near a sensible way to look at things. What line of work would that ever be a plan of action? In reality if two well known managers fail you go for a third or a fourth etc. We should always go for the best possible people - despite how rubbish the chairman is. We need a manager who will succeed in spite of the limitations imposed on him. Poch had an owner/chairman who gave him zero money to spend. That season he took his club to the CL final which in relative terms was a great achievement.

Tbf, if there was some magic button that put Poch as UTD manager today, while giving Ole a dignified exit (DOF)... I think we'd all take it... But there isn't... and as most of us don't subscribe to the "love one, hate the next" logic of deciding who is good or not... We may as well just enjoy the ride and hope for the best.

Any manager other than SAF can't do anything better than what we are now & with what we have. We should give this season and next to Ole to build a team and then judge him. Theres no point in changing and chopping every season as the team will be in transition for ever. We have tested with two of the greatest managers in football post SAF and still back to square one. Give Ole a couple of windows to see how he builds.

You should give it to Mark Hughes

He’s one of the best managers in the world and has plenty of years left in him. There genuinely aren’t many other managers I would want over him.

But saying that, Ole still deserves time to show what he can do, he was hired to do so and has shown some promise (although a while back).

There has to come a time where reality sinks in and they give somebody a good 3 or 4 years to rebuild the side in their image.

Nobody in world football could come in a be a success with our current squad.

It’s weird that people actually think Pochettino would want the job.

Yep, Poch has more class than to join United

It’s nothing to do with class.

Poch got a team that spent nothing to a CL final.

Ole got Cardiff City relegated.

He had spent nothing in the 18 month run up to the CL final. Compare that with Liverpool....

Why? It is irrelevant.
