3 away wins on the bounce, can’t remember the last time that happened.

You know they all watched it.

Get a win at Blackburn and we could still be top...and Derby in the bottom three!

The remaining Saturday fixtures relevant to Forest:

9 - Charlton v Leeds - 2
3 - Swansea v Reading - 20
4 - Preston v B City - 8
6 - QPR v West Brom - 5

Then mid-week:

10 - Blackburn v Forest - 1st
2 - Leeds v West Brom - 5
9 - Charlton v Swansea - 3
15 - Boro v Preston - 4
13 - Cardiff v QPR - 6

A good opportunity to set us up in the top six 👍

Very entertaining Championship fare. It was never a 2-3 game but they were fighting for their managers life in fairness.

Ameobi deserves MOTM (ahead of Ince 😁) for his second half performance. Put a lot more aggression into his attacking play and even two players couldn’t hold him back. Wonderful play for the Grabban goal. He has an awkward style but it became more effective as the game wore on.

First Forest win at Stoke since 1994. Can anyone remember that season and how it played out?...🙃

Have a great weekend everyone. Celebrate and make some noise but get home safely. 😉

Sorry Will, my short-term memory ain't what it used to be, I think...

Terry the Kitman was in the Harvesters Pub at Wilford watching the game. Says he is enjoying the retirement and is glad he doesn’t have to sort the Forest kit anymore because he couldn’t spell half of their names! 😆

He was also not wearing shorts. First time I have ever not seen his bobbly knees!

Bring on the Blackburn!

Power cut in Derby tonight?

I wasn’t even old enough to remember 1994

Odd game. We were sloppier than usual but much more effective. All my talk before the match about making more chances than the stats tell us.
Well. We scored pretty much all our chances.

Stoke played like a teams where the players ARE playing for the managers, and aren’t ‘terrible’ but are just were always going to lose just through habit. Lord knows that was basically our style of football in the fawaz years. Can definitely see them asking him if they haven’t already, if they lose to Huddersfield they are deep in it.

Anyways.
UP THE SH!THOUSING REDS!!!

I hope Dawson isn’t too badly injured

It’s also really great to see the depth in the squad paying dividends

Uncle Albert came on and played a big role in managing those crucial last ten minutes. That’s proper experience. He is a diamond 💎

Oh, what a beautiful morning.

Dawson only looks to be out for a couple of games with a calf problem.

Can’t say I saw any Dawson look injured or try and walk it off. Sabri probably being very protective of Dawson and is gonna look to sub him if there’s even a sniff of him getting a knock.

Let’s hope it’s not serious because he got an injury last season and then we didn’t see him again. He’s one of the main reasons we’re top of the league

Sounds like it is a calf injury. Wouldn’t expect to see him for the Blackburn and Brentford games. More likely it’ll be after the next international break. Chema looked fairly solid when he came on. There are also other options in Figuiredo and Milosevic that could also help should be be out for longer.

All good CBs but it’s the leadership we’ll miss I think.

Other than West Brom beating QPR (granted they were placed right next to each other so the difference is kinda negligible), results have gone our way

Preston and Bristol drawing
Swansea drawing
Leeds losing

We’re a 3rd, point off top, and play a inconsistent Blackburn at home next while West Brom play Leeds and Swansea play charlton.

Blackburn had a stinker today by the looks of it. Hopefully the Reds can add to their woes on Tuesday evening.
