Games like these are when you need that midfielder who can beat his man or play that pass. A win is a win so I'm delighted.
VVD was easily a 9. Salah was a 5. Rest I agree with.

this apart from wijnaldum 6 is generous even with the goal which was a gkin error, keeper and 2 cbs and their gk won us 3 points today rest 5 at best for me.
origi 7 too * he looked lively got stuck in, looks a lot leaner, dno if thats the black kit or his new trim he looked a right lanky facker
Not a good game. SU were the better team at times, well organised, committed to the cause, played as a team should. Not a single shot on goal from our team in the first half, and that says a lot.
Their defence was very physical, not frightened to put it about, with Sane, Mo and even Bobby at times bouncing off them. At times they dominated, they stifled our front three.
The efforts ,and in particular the glowing misses by both Sadio and Mo were there for all to see.
Three more points to LFC. Move on.
SU did fluck all in the game, just there to stifle us and get a draw. Glad we got the win for trying to play some attacking football.

Do you even watch footy and understand it? Hes targeted because salah doEsnt track back as much. I think he defends very well especially considering its ofted 2/3 vs 1! He has his off days sure but hes still a kid ffs zaha the only real player ive seen cause him real problems. Pocketed players like neymar and sane too so swings and roundabouts as youd expect for a young defender.
What's with the low scores for Fabinho? Is it just because he misplaced a pass whilst the commentators were discussing him?
I thought he was excellent, our best player after Virgil today. He broke up play constantly, worked hard to be available for the pass.
Sheffield United's setup and whole gameplan was to stop our full backs. Don't think TAA was a 5 however as he still got good crosses in, just they were compact.
Took that wee bit of luck to break them down. Expect others to take note of that gameplan but surely Mane and Salah won't have days like this too often.

There’s a bit of the fact there’s no tracking back, but also a lot to do with the fact he’s suspect at times. . Can be caught out of position a lot. Very good player but needs work defensively.
I thought the biggest mistake we made was not to take them on 1v1 it was only when Origi came on that he actually showed how slow their defenders were.
