Embarrassing mate.
I was amazed to see Spurs fans calling for Poch out last week and I'm equally amazed at the short termism of some of our fans this week.
Our fans are fickle cants
I think everyone knew a title challenge was a mile off, but you still have to perform at a respectable level, these players cost fortunes, and look like very ordinary footballers at the minute

I think based on Olè's first dozen games or so, people were thinking he was the new messiah...
We've had our current predicaments somewhat thrust upon us and it's great to see Lamps at the helm and the youth flourishing.

The ones Ole had a say in look like they could be good players for us. He didn't choose the rest of the squad and whilst the football isn't easy to watch, it's put us in a position we are competitive in every game.
Emery and Potch have had far longer and more input into their squad yet are't doing much better.

----------------
Exactly. Ole is trying to get a tune out of a squad that has been put together by 4 different managers. Has he made mistakes? Yes, of course he has. But has has also taken on a poisoned chalice. Ole needs at least another 2 windows minimum. If there isn't an upturn around this time next season then questions should be asked.

Agreed.
And part of his squad are youngsters who will make mistakes.
Tuanzebe looked excellent for half hour last night and he started to tire in the second half. He made a mistake that cost us a goal.

I’m saying while I understand a league challenge is out of the question, the team must still maintain a respectable level of performance, or do you just write another season off and put it down to past managers signings??

Is it turgid football in terms of tactics, or is it that we lack the quality in the attacking half of the pitch to implement the football?
Fact of the matter is we've missed a lot of chances as well.
