What about Son, Kane etc. He has no excuse. If the players can't do it for him then don't play them. Our second string would finish higher than Burnley. Yet they don't get turned over like we do.

Even during our decent Redknapp era we had the same problems.
Signing Saha and Neilson when we needed a couple decent players to give us a push.
Our owners really need to decide what they want us to be. A big club or a steady club but if the choose the second then they need to give my good friend bake em a cheaper ST as we can’t sell our tickets at the hugest price in the league for that.

I don't doubt your loyalty to Spurs but equally you want to sack a manager because he's going through a tough period with lack of investment and players looking to move on. Same manager who has done great work for us and taken the team to new heights from before.
Yet, if a player leaves to join a better team like Madrid you'd question his loyalty to Spurs.

Poch's next job will be United or Madrid. Probably the two biggest clubs in football. What he has done for spurs over the last few years has shown he is a top manager.
To be honest, he has been on about a big rebuild for a while now. Clearly has seen these players, although excellent footballers are no longer playing for him. I hope he goes back to what he did when he first came in and go with the younger hungrier players from here.

Fair comments. I just can't look past Poch in terms of our league form for the last 10 months. The football is turgid and boring. He has world class players to work with and yet has no idea. Hengy, judging by how they’ve run the club their entire time I suspect it’s the latter. Like you’ve said before, a coach like Howe seems more likely than someone like Mourinho or Allegri and with that it’s likely you’ll operate along similar lines - though with a larger budget but inferior coach.

I said in the summer poch didn’t have any more excuses as we kept our best players and bought some real good ones.
Now I see the ones we kept we should’ve got rid and need 2 or 3 more.
The rot in our squad is as bad as when poch started. 18 months of not buying and selling had really hit home now.
I would rather we got rid of half this squad and kept poch even if it means a short term hit on performances than keep these players and bring in a new manager.

You keep saying world class players.. i think you're overrating our players. Those who want out don't care about the team so their talent is wasted anyway and others are inconsistent.
A player says he wants to leave Spurs. Plays awful football and your initial reaction is to blame the manager? Doesn't make sense.

I said in the summer poch didn’t have any more excuses as we kept our best players and bought some real good ones.
Now I see the ones we kept we should’ve got rid and need 2 or 3 more.
The rot in our squad is as bad as when poch started. 18 months of not buying and selling had really hit home now.
I would rather we got rid of half this squad and kept poch even if it means a short term hit on performances than keep these players and bring in a new manager.

We weren’t on the level Pool are now but we were ahead of them the . It’s all relative, Chelsea were the best team in 2017 but they aren’t at the level of city over the last two years
I don’t get the ‘glory year’ comment either. We’d generally finished above Liverpool since 2010 with the exception of 2014, yet they went and strengthened while we stagnated. So it was a number of years, not one

He definitely has. People who want him sacked a turning a blind eye to the variables which have led us to this position. Issues some discussed two years ago in advance of it happening because we saw similar thing happen with Arsenal
