They have one of those loonies for president

Regarding this Slovan behind closed doors game, accompanied children under the age of 14 are allowed to attend. And at their last game over 5,000 kids did.

Bet there’s lots of Wolves fans now offering young relatives a free trip to Slovakia

Cutrone played the second half of Italy U21s goalless draw in Dublin. Everton’s Moise Kean also came on at half time but was sent off 20 minutes later

Dendoncker sat out Belgium’s thrashing of San Marino with an injury last night and is doubtful for Wolves game against Southampton next week

posted on 11/10/19

I read that Dendoncker was ill rather than injured.

Belgium had 43 shots to SM's zero. What's the point really.

Also just seen that the non football related operation Doc had recently was to remove a suspect mark on his lip. Well spotted and good that he got it looked in to. Irish lads need to stay out of the sun though.

Amazed to see that Charlie Mulgrew is still getting games for Scotland, he couldn't get in to a frankly average Wolves team about 12 years ago, yet the Jocks haven't found anyone better to play there in all that time.

Reading speculation that up to 15,000 accompanied children from all over Slovakia may attend the Wolves game

posted on 11/10/19

So that's a 30,000 home crowd and not a single Wolves supporter allowed in.
Super atmosphere for the Wolves lads to play in!

Just emerging that in these circumstances where a home team is ordered to play behind closed doors, as well as accompanied children under 14 being allowed in, the away team is entitled to 200 tickets.

Those would certainly sell if made available although the game is less than 2 weeks away now so they will need to be made available soon for people to make travel arrangements

posted on 11/10/19

Wolves have just released these 200 tickets for sale. £55 each

The Pyunik 48 get first dibs then its out to gold and silver ASTHs.

Just hope I qualify for a final ticket as a lowly STH of 30 years standing (on and off).

This from Tim Spiers:

". Remember, there are 16,500 free tickets for home fans (15,000 of them schoolchildren) as part of Bratislava's punishment for serious racist and homophobic chants

Wolves fans have been royally diddled here.

If Bratislava shift only half of those tickets they'll still be cheered on by a far bigger crowd than usual, as part of their punishment.

Average home attendances are a paltry 6,690 this season."

More top decision making there UEFA.

some fans on mol mix have already made travel arrangements, gambling that the game would take place.

Matt Doherty starts at left back for the Republic this afternoon in their important game in Georgia where they look to consolidate their position at the top of their group

posted on 12/10/19

0-0

Looks like Matt did his job though the attack let them down. Be interested to know how he performed on the left.

RoI top of their group and now 9 games undefeated - good old Mick

Goalless draw I believe. Currently in Amsterdam, so peeping in on here to find out what’s appending in the world, football-wise. The expertise of Uncle Herbert and WITLESS will sadly by unavailable due to their being blocked.

Appending = happening. Auto correct goes twatty again.

Mick undefeated in nearly 2 years managing RoI! What is the record for an international team going unbeaten by the way?

I read this morning that Gareth Southgate is considering returning to a 3 man defence.
McGuire.......Coady........Walker sounds good to me.

posted on 13/10/19

Southgate has fell out with Walker, and Slab Head would expose Connor too much by going on his marauding runs into midfield

I would like to see

Bennett Coady Rice
