“Joby i know you are not a big fan of me but come you could not of been at the game or sitting next to a Liverpool whilst watching i know no one who was there who contacted who weren't hacked off and not in a love fest with the reds.“

Apologies if I’ve given that impression Nev as I actually enjoy your contributions to these boards. I just like to call things as I see them, which means I don’t always agree.

There was a time when an incident like the Liverpool game would have ruined my weekend and probably a few days after as well. With age and experience I tend to be a bit more pragmatic about things.

Yes it was painful. Yes Mane did make the most of it, but I can’t say that Liverpool weren’t the better side. We have also had some decisions on our side in other games.

I’m personally still move peeved about the Man Utd game. We had much more of a genuine chance of winning at OT, but set up in a formation and with personnel that severely restricted our chances. That game also saw a very soft penalty and a swan dive by a forward. I still feel that we threw 3 points away in that game whereas we were unfortunate to lose a point at Anfield that we probably didn’t deserve on the balance of play.

Peace Joby my bad.... It may say more about me i'm surprised by the polarization of the Country, football and when someone i thought would have a balanced view clearly did not.

I feel that my son got a good lesson in the pact with the we do supporting our home club and not one of those who goes with who ever is in fashion.

I think Liverpool desrved to win we only created two chances but its not that i am wound up about its the reactions of their manager and fans.
We will move on.

For me it shows we are still a work in progress and need all our players to be on form and they weren't on Saturday.

I always thought this season would be up and down. Some big results against big teams and some gobbets against poor teams, but levelling out as progress.

That’s all I like to see really and so far there is no denying the progress we’ve made under Rodgers. We said we should judge things after 10 games and we’re not far off that now. I’ve seen enough to make me feel confident we can mount a challenge for Europe.

Personally I think we’ll be way too inconsistent to challenge the top 4 but we certainly should be beating the poorer teams in the league and taking some good results from the better ones.

Despite all the frustrations Nev, I think things overall look quite positive. Which is why I feel I’ve been able to move on so easily from the weekend.

Must say I'm surprised, I thought it was all going to be Kasper's fault.

I know a few Liverpool fans, all thought it was 100% penalty and should have been a sending off, no surprises there really.

Keegan was a favourite of mine so when he was at Liverpool I had a soft spot for them but since then I really don't care about them at all, most comments are really just banter between Clubs fans.

I dislike Liverpool more than any other club by a long distance, the spectre we've been facing of Liverpool fans giving it large about how wonderful is their great and dominant club is looming.

I find it a particularly tedious situation for one club to keep on winning everything which is why I don't want them to succeed this (or any other) season. It is far too soon for them to win the League yet again but sadly I feel with the demise of Man City the scene is set for laughing boy and his cohorts to reign supreme.

Absolutely. I have a soft spot for Spurs, my dad got me a Brooke Bond picture of the double winning side. So I also dislike Arsenal, but nowhere near the extent of Liverpool.

Oooooof, next you’ll be telling me you quite like what Brian Clough achieved at Forest and how Paul Kitskn made the right move choosing to move to Derby 😉

I did like Cloughie, brilliant manager and a great character. I'm not saying any more than that.

It doesn't help enough.
