My point is that players can go for seemingly ridiculous fees, depending on the need of the purchasing clubs. Prem status provides prem funds and prem fees.

I think he's been a revelation - based on not knowing a jot about him when we signed him on loan. He's way beyond what I expected - and I suspect most on here.

However McBurnie is a £20m player. That's the fee that Sheff U agreed to pay for him. Regardless of your view of him, that's the value that was agreed as part of the deal. Primarily due to the money they had available to them and as a result of prem status (and I suspect the new owners).

Thing is with the price tag Brighton have given is he's showing there's a lot off player there, when his time with us ends you can bet there'll be teams that have already looked at him and it will start a bidding war!..

I think Brighton will get more for him!..

And its odd how people try comparing him to Jannson, White is better and he will improve, a future England player in our ranks that hopefully we're promoted and given a chance to say yes or no!..

No, what I'm saying is if he keeps up this form all season then I wouldn't hesitate at spending 20m in the summer.

You would not get him for 10m at the end of the season on the form he's showing, not even close
