You have such a simplistic view of football. It all makes sense in your head of course, and ignorance is bliss.

You're the one who wants a rookie who has done nothing in football as a manager, apart from a couple of Norwegian titles and nearly consecutive relegations with Cardiff before he was sacked, five wins in twenty-two games, the worst start in thirty years, to stay. I'd say it's you that has the simplistic view.
This isn't simple at all, there are a lot of issues to solve. Firstly you'd want a good manager who can deal with the issues, it's the easy part to solve.
Oh goody, rip up another plan just to start from scratch again. Bring in Allegri, and his pragmatic style, when he fails to get a tune out of this lot start over again. At what point do you actually stick with a plan?

I know we finished second and had some good wins, including against City, Liverpool and Arsenal, but I can’t see 17-18 as a highlight. We were so dull for the majority and ended up with nothing. I preferred 16-17. Two trophies, CL football and a talisman in Ibra.
It’s been a fairly dire period though and United becoming synonymous with dull, defensive football, or at least struggling to create and score goals, underpins the lack of success.

Listen TOOR, you're in absolutely no position to judge a manager. You simply don't know enough.
You think you do, because you think you know enough to draw a conclusion on everything. But you don't.

I am, so I have. He's done a terrible job, the worst job for the past 30 years at the club. It happens. We had Hodgson, who also won some titles in Norway. They simply aren't good enough for big clubs. Solksjaer has a long way to go to get to Hodgson's level however.
Even somebody who doesn't know anything about football, who hasn't watched it, who has no understanding whatsoever would be able to look at the situation under Solskjaer and tell that he's doing a poor job.
So your idea that somebody isn't qualified to pass judgement on something they haven't done themselves is a very flawed argument.
You say you're a CEO of a company, I bet you pass judgement on jobs you haven't done yourself everyday and in some cases jobs you have no understanding of, in a practical sense. Yet you can see the trends, the reports, the figures.

The only plan these cants had when they took over was to ride on the coat tails of fergie's success all the while milking the club and taking the fans for granted.
Over a decade running this football club and they are facking clueless.
Some people are just blindly loyal which is great but not objective.
What's the most positive change that's manifested on the pitch? Anything will do.
If Liverpool appointed Steve Nicol and he was overseeing Liverpools worst start in 30 years the site would crash.

This isn't what I said. You do that a lot, don't you? Do you not read things properly?
I also haven't argued that Ole isn't doing a poor job. More strawman arguments.
Writing words on a forum doesn't put you in a position to make a judgement.
It's a bit like listening to someone like you tell me about the issues with Marks and Spencer as a business.
Ultimately, you have no idea what you're talking about and of course you'll happily express an opinion, but to do so in such a matter of fact way just makes you sound ignorant.
I'm not a CEO. I'm a Managing Director of my own small business. I know what I'm good at and I know what I need experts to help me with.
Ill bet anybody that if United loose to Liverpool, Ole doesn't get the sack.

I get that this is our worst start for 30 years, but only last year it was our worst start for 26 years. The point being this is not just out of the blue, we have had 6 years of terrible management from above... this is a necessary evil that should have occurred years ago!

Yeah I dont think they'll sack him. A lot depends on the dressing room though and if he loses that then it may force the boards hand.
The Simon Stone article makes some good points I feel with one Utd source quoted as saying;
'The only crisis is an inuyry crisis'.
And that if they can get the side that faced Chelsea and Wolves out on the pitch it will make a hige difference.
I think it's somewhere in the middle but if the board have allowed Ole to go into a season with that squad then Im sure they will allow some poor results.
Saying that it's Liverpool up at Old Trafford followed by four away games.
Bury have won an away game more recently tjan Utd and they dont exist.

Very good point.
And ultimately it's a case of, 'so what'? The overall season is the key period of time to be measured over and even then, football has changed now - are United going to do anything other than just have a bad season and finish lower down the table than we'd like?

Even if Ole survives a Liverpool loss we then have Partizan Belgrade away, Norwich away, chelsea away, Bournemouth away after
Genuinely can see hardly anything gotten from them
The media outcry will be huge and shareholders will probably demand he goes and that will be it for him. And he’ll never manager a top club again.

We can't see us getting anything in any game because we're pretty awful. That may change.
I do fear for him a little if Liverpool give us a spanking though. That's the only thing currently that I think would change things - if they came to OT and score 6, 7 or more.
