Taking Europa League and League Cup into account isn't much value imo.

I did respond to what you said. You're saying fans have been too quick to judge. He's won five out of twenty-two games. Surely that's enough? If you could see progress, then you could possibly say we can wait but you're getting worse. That's not too quick to judge.

What's better. No Fellaini, no Sanchez, Ashley Young now a reserve, we now know Rashford is not a Striker. it is a low bar but those are things that we either all wanted or didn't know for certain. Defence is tighter too. Next phase is to get a whole new midfield and a few more attackers, sell another 7 sacks of ….. bought by all our other managers and BINGO off we go.

Didn't say I don't expect people to make judgements on the current performance.
That's you, arguing different points.
It is too soon to judge. Most managers will oversee a period of poor results, particularly when the club is in turmoil as United are.
8 games into a league season is simply not enough to make a credible judgement about how Ole may get on long term.
If you think it is then so be it, but as I say, it's a very modern football fan approach.

I’ve been against the Ole appointment since before he was brought in. And stayed that way. After the PSG game I was like ‘what the hell, let’s hire him as what a crazy win’ and then we descended into the kind of form that would do for any manager let alone a United manager
And this season has been shocking and thankfully he’ll be gone soon and when we have a capable manager people like Winston will be able to defend something with substance instead of an overqualified yes man who we all deep down know shouldn’t be there

If we forget last season, forget a run of five wins in twenty and forget cup games then its only 8 games you know! Far too early to make a judgement.
Roooooooooobbbbbbbbbbbbbb…. It is because we have injuries to 6 first team players, otherwise he would not be playing, that's the point. "the only crisis we have is an injury crisis".
Robbing, you seem a bit obsessed about the number of games.
8 games into a league season. Less than a quarter of the games played.
You can whine all you like about which figure we use but the point about the 8 games is to highlight how early it actually is in the season.
Ultimately, he will judged on his league performance.
Look at the run at the start of the season too, the players were rubbish then also. with a different manager.

Hypothetical questions are not really helpful. We're nowhere near the relegation zone.
You can say 'we're 2 points above it' all you like, but we're only 5 points from 5th.
Which tells you all you need to know about using a league position after 8 games to judge a new manager by.
