But if you’re one game/round of fixtures from being in the relegation zone (with your next game against the league leaders), how can you be “nowhere near” the relegation zone?

In general, I agree that it’s early days and things can change, and I’m not in the “out” camp. But our fixtures haven’t even been hard ones, really: our losses have been against West Ham, Newcastle and Palace. And there’s nothing in the performances to give us much hope (the odd spark of individual promise aside). We can complain about injuries but we always have them and that’s why a good squad is vital. 12th after eight games, with three defeats and hardly any goals, and with Liverpool up next, is not a position to be dismissed or even mitigated by the “too soon” viewpoint, in my opinion.

It's not the definition of it. For that to happen there would need to be a ridiculous set of results.

The point is that after 8 games, using the points gap between high and low is misleading because there's such a small gap across the league.

And that’s why we look at how things are on the pitch and with things being so bad it leans heavily towards a situation where we move closer to the relegation zone than away from it. And that is something that gets rid of managers at smaller clubs. We are Manchester United and should have some standards other than doing the nice thing and giving an already under qualified guy a chance based on blind faith

Shinjury, already said it. NO Fellaini, No Sanchez, Young not a starter, defence better. We can all now say for certain Rashford is no Striker yes, its a long overhaul needed!

I do get what you're saying and Jose was largely to blame for how he handled things. That being said, he actually probably did have a point about some of the players he dug out every week.

He handled it terribly though.

Absolutely and if you go back to December last year you won’t see me saying he shouldn’t be sacked as I saw the writing on the wall.

With how football is today the players have huge power and I just feel they don’t respect Ole’s tactics nor have faith he can steer them to any success whatsoever and that’s reflected with what we see on the pitch and will do for Ole very soon.

That’s why I keep asking for a capable manager - one who the players can get behind and I promise you we’ll magically see improvements from the players we now think aren’t good enough for Ole

Oh, and it's not blind faith.

It's funny that after all this time you clearly still don't even know what my opinion is.
