Agreed. We were relatively succesful under Jose. OK he got sacked, but he isnt the first and wont be the last.

Dunno if the money argument is that relevant

People criticise his signings as saying they’re not good enough so it can’t be both - you can’t say someone succeeded because they spent the most but also have people saying the signings were rubbish

Can you compare the outlay , Mourinhio spent more but got us finishing 2nd. It's hard now with the cost of players , SAF made some duff signings, veron, kleberson , Alan Smith , kagawa , djemba djemba, liam Millar , forlan , in today's market that would be significant money down the drain.
