You s****ing me VC10? Look at the side of the road sometime. Empty Red Bull cans everywhere. Not only are the people who drink Red Bull stupid, they are also antisocial.
The can is actually worth more than the contents so they would be better off keeping the can and emptying the liquid. The mark up is around 2000% hence they can afford to lavish money on racing cars, speed boat events, air races etc. In fact anything which emits CO2. They want life on earth to end sooner rather than later.
I suspect VC10 was being sarcastic, Spart. Must admit I didn't know about the family. I've always wondered how an energy drink firm could afford so much sponsorship - do the family just bank roll the company & run it at a loss?
Also, I see they have a worrying abbot of renaming football clubs...
These abbots are very worrying SB.
The Red Bull co-owners do seem rather adept at hiding their wealth (and son) from the tax authorities.
No wonder they are involved in football, they make good bed fellows.

Here's the story about the spoilt brat. No doubt he will be walking without a care in the world at the Japanese GP this weekend.
More traffic offence controversy – just what we need right now.
Thank you Spart for educating me on energy drinks. I must admit I've never has an energy drink, I much prefer a beer or 5. Most of the litter down my road are McDonald's wrappers, I've only ever had a McDonalds twice and thought they were not very nice. I think the way folk leave litter is disgusting and needs policing a lot more.
I think Red Bull are an Austrian team, when they win they play the Austrian national anthem. Funny country is Austria, some very odd people have been born there, nice scenery though and very tidy and clean.

When you are selling a product which is essentially water, sugar and caffeine for 2 pound a small can then you have spare cash to do what you like. Especially when you don't pay tax on the extortionate profits.

I have drunk a small amount of Monster and found it disgusting.

Spart, I don't know why people waste their money on such rubbish. Walk down a street in Derby or any other town and fold are wandering about eating expensive junk food. If I was PM I would insist all schools taught home economics, so children could cook a proper meal when they are older. I have 2 daughters in law and neither can cook, one lot the man cooks and the other lot live on take aways. I can't cook but I learnt Latin, and a lot of good that has done me.
VC, most useful thing I learned at University was how to look after myself. I can still knock up a decent meal for under a quid, helps being vegetarian. Take aways are ridiculously expensive and very high in salt, calories, fat and sugar. You may outlive one of your daughter in law.
Latin is useful for showing how clever you are, just ask de Pfeffel Johnson.
There is nothing at all to indicate any potential involvement with Red Bull. A few people are guessing and these guesses include the middle East, China and the U.S.A. If enough people guess then I suppose somebody could guess correctly in a monkey/typewriter sort of way. As we found with the Rooney signing, Morris has tightened up considerably on inside knowledge becoming public. Nobody, least of all those who come on this site saying "I'm hearing...." is likely to find out anything ahead of an official announcement.
Given the experiences with iPro I'd expect Mel Morris to be very reluctant to be involved with another soft drink company, especially in an ownership deal.

Yes it was and no it isn't.

I will stop supporting Derby if Red Bull come in. The family that own it are still hiding their son who killed a policeman. Besides which it is overpriced crap drunk by people with too few brain cells.

It used to be sold in our local Coop.
iPro supplied the drinks bottles to Norwich City at one time. Not sure about the contents though.
They surely wouldn't have been promoted drinking that stuff !

I'm more like Bernard Corbyn, I failed Latin at O level, I hated it. I liked History, Geography, Maths and chemistry.
Reliable new outlet “The Sun Online” reports that Morris has rejected a bid of 50 million from “an American consortium” and wants 60 million. The headline “Ram Raid” is believed to be the first ever use of this headline in connection with Derby County FC.
