Didn't watch it, so i'll take your word for all of that.
seen bits and bobs of it, first half Burke broke away a few times nobody near him and makes a mess of it
second half it looked like it was damage limitation after the first went in
a see people on Twitter saying McLeish would've got hounded for these results, McLeish is one of the main reasons we're in this mess
we were quick to get rid of Strachan and it turns out weve made the wrong decision
however a bit like Man Utd, Scotland will never improve unless they get rid of the incompetent people that run the game, the whole system needs a complete overhaul
Shankland
Didn't watch the game and to be honest I barely followed the score. Kept a closer eye on the second half because the main man came on but I spent the evening watching Netflix instead, and enjoyed it much more (I was watching Money Heist - it's in Spanish but it's brilliant).
Basically the players aren't there, especially in some positions like centre-back - and there are always call-offs so there's little point in moaning about that. Some folk really should look at previous managers, such as McLeish, in a bit of a different light now.
However, Clarke's there now and we'll obviously just have to persevere with what we've got and see how he gets on.
It's worth saying that Scotland never does well in friendlies and last night was pretty much a friendly for us last night.
Clarke should be judged on the play-offs when they come round.
these last 3 group games are crucial we need 3 good wins to try and give us a platform for the playoffs
we also need a full squad available
Tierney, Fletcher, McArthur, Ritchie, McKenna, Souttar
get Johnston and Gilmour in
whens Tavernier eligible to play for us

Silver, feck knows mate. I've absolutely no idea where we go from here.
My great hope is that the youth framework produces results in the next few years and we can start fast-tracking young players into the team, but then that's been my hope for a couple of decades now.
The complete lack of centre halfs baffles me.
"Have we made another absolute baws of it?"
Yes. I would've thought Clarke would be the guy who could've brought some organisation, discipline and team that was hard to beat. He's failed miserably on all counts.
I think this is the worst I've ever seen Scotland play and that's saying something.
The thing is you look at Northern Ireland and the teams they put out and they're competitive. They went to the Netherlands last night and gave them a fright ffs whereas we can't do that anymore, and I'm not sure any of us would particularly rate many of their players.

Exactly.
I thought Clarke would take us back to the Smith era at least where we were solid at the back and always in the game.
We’ve now conceded 8 goals in 2 games

Ivan. Any idea who was the last United player to get a Scotland cap?
Michael O'Neill lost his first 8 or 9 games with NI

If Ivan had his way then it would have been Paul Paton and Lee Wilkie.

Aye fluck going to that on Sunday, £27 a ticket as well.
FFS, it's cheaper for the semi final in 3 weeks.
Seen the Belgium goals against San Marino last night? The absolute nick of the San marino players man it shouldnae be allowed

the reason the tickets are so expensive for San Marino as they cap all the games at the one price
so you're paying the same for the Belgium game
this was done to death in the last campaign

I think Andy Robertson got capped while at United - he would have been the last one I think? Either him or GMS.
