Pep is able to adapt.

Klopp loses Mane, VVD or a FB for any length of time and he would struggle
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So Pep didn't spend £50m on Walker and then another £50m on a full back. He didn't buy Bravo and then decided months later he wants Ederson instead?

Or win the league and buy Mahrez for £50m. If Pep can better adapt it's because Man City have spend a significant amount on players more than Liverpool.

You say this as city are in a period when they're struggling because they've lost important players to injury?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They are hardly struggling. Sitting 2nd after just 8 games
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They're on pace to finish with 20 points less than they did last season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Its only 8 games mate.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How is the time frame relevant to whether or not they're currently struggling due to injuries?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Because they arent struggling.

Like Pep has lost Laporte and then dropped several points? Adapt like that you mean?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes.

Exactly, wouldn't say they are struggling though boss. They have dominated every game this year, other then wolves. I think getting the results has been the issue this time round, its like pool and city have swapped in that regards
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They've lost two games already not just Wolves

Klopp every day of the week.

makes me laugh those who bang on about pep winning domestic titles everywhere he has been...he has managed Barcelona, bayern and fecking City... not valencia, schalke and everton, he has been given the best squads and the biggest budgets at every club he has been at.

Tbf its no different to say klopp spent millions on vvd, allison, fabinho, keita, salah etc. Just because they received outlandish money because klopp was lucky enough to inherit a team with coutinho who barca were interested in, doesnt mean they havent spent.

Yeah...I mentioned that earlier. I said theyve dominated every game bar wolves.

And if you include community shield, then they've both lost 2 this year. Pool just getting over the line in games though. I would concede they've "struggled" in terms of results.

But that's just in single positions. No matter how much you think Liverpool have spent - Man City have done so even more.

Liverpool bought Salah for instance
Man City bought Bernando Silva and Mahrez

Liverpool bought VVD
Man City bought Laporte and Stones

Liverpool bought Fabinho
Man City bought Rodri and Gundogan

Its a results business. At the end of the day, the gap between them both is paper thin, the teams I mean.

Should city have beaten spurs and norwich? Any other day they would have.
Should chelsea and leicester have gotten something against pool? maybe.

Both last year were exceptional, both look exceptional (bar wolves and napoli) this season. Its fine margins, but liverpool are getting the results which is obviously, all that matters.

The best case scenario for a pep team will always be more impressive than the best case scenario for a klopp team imo

But I think klopp has shown an ability to do more with less

posted on 11/10/19

Well that's obviously what people mean when they say "struggle". The team cost over £1bn to assemble they aren't going to struggle by being outside of the top four or mid-table. They have enough quality for that but it is a struggle compared to what Liverpool are doing or what they were doing last season.

Pep has won a domestic title everywhere he's been, unlike Klopp.

No doubt Pep is much better and his teams have more flair and are exciting to watch

Last year, with injuries, his side came from a deficit of over 7 points to win the title.

That's the difference!

Nah.

Liverpool finished 2nd and were lauded.

City are 2nd after just 8 games and they are struggling.

Yeak. OK.

If you can't see the difference the your presona S RDD is confirmed.
Liverpool finished 1 point behind after 38 games. City are 8 points behind after 8 games.
City got lauded for winning the league, plus 2 cups of course.
Liverpool got lauded for winning the CL.
The club you and I support got lauded for nothing.

If city finish second on 97 points they will also be lauded, currently they are on course to finish on 76 points.
