If you can't see the difference the your presona S RDD is confirmed.
Liverpool finished 1 point behind after 38 games. City are 8 points behind after 8 games.
City got lauded for winning the league, plus 2 cups of course.
Liverpool got lauded for winning the CL.
The club you and I support got lauded for nothing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Liverpoil got lauded for finishing 2nd.

2nd by nobody's definition is struggling.

Depends on the standards, which in city's case are for very high

Maybe, if they finished there

Robb, if you don't want off topic comments, maybe don't mention it in the article

Difficult question to answer.

Pep clearly an exceptional coach but currently there are no signs that he can do it without a huge budget.

On that basis, I'd probably go with Klopp, particularly if they win it this year.

The question for me is all about enjoyment. Football is an entertainment sport.

Klopp is by far the more entertaining man.

Pep was handed city and handed bayern teams, the only reference for me is his early Barca work to compare to klopp, whos team now is exactly what he wants it to be based on his own effort.

I'd never take anyone over klopp right now. He is just hilarious.

Let's talk about 6.
Falling off the bus.
Counting to 6.

Pep is able to adapt.

Klopp loses Mane, VVD or a FB for any length of time and he would struggle

Pep, as he knows how to win the league.

let them manage Brighton and Bournemouth then start a debate, all very well managing teams with hundreds of millions to spend on the squads

give then a budget of £50m then see what they can do

posted on 11/10/19

I think the accurate answer is this:

- Pep is better at coaching players.
- Klopp is better at building a team.

It would depend on your circumstance who you would choose.

Only Man Utd and Man City, and possibly Chelsea, would be wise to choose Pep over Klopp imo.

Depends on the cheque book available

Klopp didn't spend hundreds of millions at Dortmund.
Won 2 bunersliga titles, and reached a CL final.😀
Lewandowski 3 mil, Hummels 3 mil, Kagawa free, Reus 11 mil, Piszczek free, Gundogan 4 mil, Subotic 3 mil, Aubameyang 9 mil.😀

You could have done with Klopp in June though, he knows how to win the CL.

Both brilliant, who I’d choose depends on the club really. If it has a good structure behind the scenes and is after a coach, then Guardiola. If it’s needing someone to transition and build a team to get results then Klopp.

I do find it quite refreshing that they both highly rate and like each other too.

If i was a psg type owner pep if i was owner of a sleeping giant klopp. Itd be awesome if down the line we see Klopp vs Pep where Klopps at thesugar daddies of the league and peps at the underdogs. Klopp at bayern pep at dortmund or klopp at juve pep at ac milan.

Truth is though both are two of the best managers around and any club be lucky to have them.

As an Arsenal fan I'd rather Klopp at our team, I think he'd get more out of our players.

Doesn't necessarily mean I think he's a better manager though.

Liverpool finished 2nd and were lauded.

City are 2nd after just 8 games and they are struggling.

You’re comparing City in second after 8 games having lost two games already, to Liverpool who finished second after 38 games and lost one game all season.

Madness.

People saying City are struggling are loco

I can probably guess how this one has gone without reading the comments...

The Liverpool fans all say Klopp

The one city fan says pep.

And everyone else makes a decision based on the personality of the coach they think they know intimately based on press conferences 👌
