Spend lots on signings
Addressed issues with club structure
Reasonably priced ticket prices
Considering increasing stadium capacity
Committed to club traditions (kids and exciting football)
Zero interference from the owners

I get the Glazer used the clubs own money to buy it, but the o ly benefit I can see of a billionaire owner is that the club would spend even more on transfers, which hasnt worked so well upto now.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You don't need a billionaire owner pumping money in. It would be a massive improvement to simply have one not taking a billion odd out

Could be improvements to the team, the stadium, the training facilities, local football programs etc etc. Instead it's disappearing out of football and United are getting worse

So signings, the stadium (which they are already considering modernising / increasing capacity) and local football programmes which they already have.

I don't get why if this is such an issue so little has been done about it from a fans perspective...

--------------------------------------------------

What can be done about it in all seriousness?

We've had things like the G&G campaign in the past but we knew back then it wouldn't have any effect.

The only thing that might signal some change is if we reach a new low on the pitch and with the way things are going, that's entirely possible.

That might actually give the owners the wake up call they need to put a proper structure in place and bring people in who actually know what they're doing.

Then again though.....

I've suggested turning the pressure up on Woodward at games. As far as I'm aware, he hasn't received anywhere near the amount of vitriol he should be inside the ground. That would be a start.

Yeah, they should be receiving plaudits for spending the last fifteen years “considering” modernising the stadium whilst taking a billion quid out of the club

The modernisation of the stadium only seems to have become a thing in the last few seasons.

The new shirt sponsorship is key to the future of Ed and the Glazers for me.

If we dont get a world record deal then The Glazer might think that the bubble has burst and consider selling.

Get another Chevrolet sized deal though and the Glazers or Ed wont be going anywhere anytime soon.

I see the board is infested again
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Standard these days - a really childish reaction to their club's recent success.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We never received any wum articles when we had our bad patch
----------------------------------------------------------------------

That makes it more childish, not less.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So you are admitting that Utd fans are childish because they wummed us when we were dreadful? and you are also saying we are childish for wumming Utd in return as they are dreadful now?

So all in all everyone is childish
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Wow - this is some childish crap you're coming out with here.

Listen, there will be a handful of people behaving like this from both sides.

If you choose to behave like that simply because someone else did to you, then that is really rather pathetic. Plenty of the people Liverpool fans are trolling didn't behave like that when United were doing well.

They’ve done nothing in fifteen years other than some minor reconfiguration work to accommodate disabled fans. Which they were legally obliged to do.

Fifteen years, ffs. Spurs didn’t start *considering* building their new stadium until thirteen years ago.

They’re smart guys, I’ll give them that.

They’ve absolutely foooooked our club, but they’ve done it quietly and carefully enough to completely get away with it.

I'd rather Old Trafford than a shiny new soulless £1bn home with no history or memories.

The foreign ownership, the borrowing etc. has never felt right to me and I do feel that it continues to erode the culture of our club.

------

Bit Xenophobic like

Foreigners eroding cultures.

Now wherever have I heard that before?
