We don’t need another CB.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We do if we want to win a title or European Cup in the next 5 years.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not if Tuanzebe can become a top players. Looks to have all the tools.

CB is the least of our worries and it was even a mistake to make it top priority in the summer.

Not sure why you’re suggesting benching Rashford and Martial for Dan James.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Because James has performed better than both this season so far.

Big IF. But no issue with him being 3rd choice CB,.challenging the first choice for a place.

There is no footballing reason not to .........

Pogba's contract has an extention clause.
a lot of players need to be shifted but a massive squad overhaul won't happen in such a short space of time. Liverpool took a few years. City spent 200m on their back line after Pep's first season. Their midfield and attack was already sorted at the time. We need to sort put several positions, but mainly midfield. None of them are top players nor compliment each other nor creative (bar Pogba).

For all this to be supported out, we need Woodward and Arnold to be removed for making footballing decisions.

Arnold is the commercial guy

Pogba does have an extension clause but both parties must be in agreement for it to be activated.

I can't see Pogba deciding another year on his contract at United is for him after how it has gone so far can you?

This is from last month:

Pogba still has two years left on his deal with an option for a third season, which can be triggered by the club only.

Only way he will sign a new contract is if no one wants him ( like summer), and we give him a totally undeserved mammoth salary increase..

All the extension clauses in our player’s contracts can be extended by the club. They are put in there to protect the club from contracts running down. It’s one of the few good things Woodward has brought to the club.

Check that out, it states some are options for the club and some need to be agreed between both parties.

Pogba isn't on a club only option according to transfermarkt and they are usually very good.

I suspect it is probably a moot point anyway as he will be sold in the summer if he gets his way.

posted on 15/10/19

Probably is.

I think we've tried the "this player will get the best out of him" method in trying to recruit in our midfield with Pogba and as long as we do get a replacement in, it may be better he's off than staying. Despite his talent he lacks something to truly make him a great player.

Pogba’s contract has a unilateral 12 month extension clause that the club can choose to trigger at any time
