The English language is a fascinating thing in that it evolves and changes very quickly as younger and professional people integrate “new speak” into the traditional form.

Some would have us still using an “f” instead of an “s” and saying thee and thou.

Verily so, gentle sir.

Everything about office culture is a cringe these days.

Halfwits that have nothing to do coming up with newly packaged old ideas with schite new names and no discernible benefits so they can put it on there yearly reviews. Complete nonsense.

Shower of dour cwnts on here at times. Attitude and approach are everything in setting the tone for a meeting or discussion.

I run a course on leadership and management and the course contains a video that I absolutely deplore. An American guy called Tom Peters talking about "the four most important words in any organisation - 'what do you think?'". Makes me cringe every time we play it and I always apologise for it.

Blue sky thinking

or

What head space are you in with that

when people come out wi all that pash in a meeting it just makes me instantly dislike them

We have had a morning meeting for years, a new guy came in and was like i have a radical new idea to freshen up the mornings and get us energised.

We will have a daily stand up meeting.....

Imagine my shock when it turns out to be exactly the fooking same meeting with a different name now only he comes on asks how everyones day was and spends 10mins giggling at answers that are anything but funny.

Yeah i don't like him.

Some would have us still using an “f” instead of an “s” and saying thee and thou.

I listen to The History of English podcast. It's full of crazy facts on how the language developed.

Latest episode was the origin of swear words. Fascinating stuff.

Essentially it’s a bastardisation of all the other languages in the world.

Absolutely no f@cking way has this ever happened. If you have witnessed it please send me the person's name and address and I'll take it from there.

Some great podcasts out there.
Blindboy is up there but a very interesting one is The Irish History Pod by Fin Dwyer, great podcast
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aye I've listened to a few of the Irish History ones. The History of England/Scotland is excellent too. My wife and I were invited to be guests on it but we never got round to it. Too much other schite going on.

Cocaine & Rhiestones was good too. All about the hellraisers of classic country. These guys put the rock legends to shame.
