Form goes out the window in such fixtures and i'd be surprise if its not the one game your lot are up for this season. Norwich looked handy vs us and beat City, Bournemouth are a capable footballing side, Brighton impressed me vs Spurs they played well and Sheffield Utd have a unique way of playing and will cause teams problems at home atleast.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if we were to beat the scousers then lose to Norwich

Well we got one of our best strikers in charge and he can't get them to finish.

Its strange since we beat PSG we have been consistently scoring less than expected and conceding more than expected. Even if we had just matched what was expected during bad run we would have won nearly every game on this bad run.

Just shows you how bad the players are.

Most top teams score more than expected and concede less than expected. Thats why we finished 2nd in 17/18 season as we completely outdid both stats than what was expected while performances wise it was near our worst season since SAF left.

I don't think anyone is expecting much these days Hafi...so you guys are definitely outperforming what is expected.

Hafi, what if we score with our first chance against one of these teams and it’s a 40 yard deflected shot, then we sit back because we are winning and don’t need to score more while ahead?

Then the opposition bombard our goal but fail to take their chances and we hold out for 1-0? Do we deserve to lose because our expected goals is 0.000001 and the opposition’s expected goals is 2.4?

Or would we deserve to win more if we didn’t take that early chance and therefore had to create many more chances to try and score that crucial goal, so ended up having an expected goals of 4 to the opposition’s 0.1 because they were sitting back trying to get the draw and it ends 0-0?

In which scenario did we deserve to win based on dominance and expected goals and hafiness?
