With Man City's squad - no, it wouldn't be classed as bottling it imo.
I wouldn't class it as bottling it. They could, in theory, be undefeated in their next 13 games, winning 8, and then drop down to second.
If they dont win it this season then this squad will never win it. It is peak for them, and City are showing signs of decline with Kompany gone, David Silva going, KdB being injured alot and an poor back 4.
I think Liverpool will win it, and quite comfortably. Theh are the best team around.
If they don't win it this season, they never will.
They will never have a better chance.
When you have a team of the quality of City to compete with then it's hard to label a team as bottlers. However gotta say I can't see them getting as good a chance as they have created for themselves this season. Bottling, no, lacking the experience yes.
Klopp has said he has 2 seasons left.
No way will their luck with Injuries (or lack of them) hold out that long, so they have to take advantage this season or probably never will.

Not sure. They win the large majority of their games and hardly ever lose.
I actually think Liverpool are a very strong side mentally, I will even go as far as saying they are mentally stronger than City. They wouldn't have won the CL the following season after having their keeper embarrass Klopp and the faith he put on him on the biggest stage in the previous season against Real Madrid and coming back against a Messi led barca.
You don't do such things if you are a mentally weak side. Liverpool are essentially the opposite of Spurs in my opinion in the mental stakes.
The only reason Liverpool didnt win the league last season was because Pep is kinda a genius and I kinda buy in the logic of some Liverpool fans that they didn't bottle it last season. What City did to stave of Liverpool after looking dead and buried at christmas was amazing, for me the game at Old Trafford was the stand out performance. City were starting to huff and puff, lots of fixtures to deal with and going to Old Trafford and winning so comfortably was effectively what separated them from Liverpool who came away with a meek draw.
In my opinion if Liverpool can hold on to Klopp they will eventually win it. The problem is holding on to Klopp which wont be easy.

IMO Liverpool have just been unfortunate that there was a team around like city and Chelsea just when they were peaking. Bit like Murray and Djorkovic. Except Murray had more opportunities to land the big one.
The CL win last season is just as impressive as winning the league as it wasn't on the back of a mundane league output like 05'. Last season they were serious challengers on at least 2 major fronts whilst playing great football and have carried on the form into this season. I know their supporters want the league but I hope they can take a step back and understand just how impressive this team performance has been.
Will be interesting if Liverpool get to the semi's of the league cup. With the FIFA club thing in December those semi's in January will ruin their season in my opinion.
Those semi's killed of spurs last season, they have ruined many an arsenal season and only city can cope with those games as they have by far the best squad in the league.
Liverpool will play reserves in League Cup, and the Workd Club Cup is a mid season break that will refresh them.

Hence I said semi's. When you get to the semi's you dont play a full 11 side of reserves.No manager has ever done it except maybe Wenger. Once you get that close to a trophy you balance the side with a few firs team players.
Its a moot point anyway as I doubt Liverpool can win the league cup if none of their front 3 plays in the competition but the game against Arsenal will give us an idea of what Klopp might do.
Klopp never plays his best xi in the cup, and doubt that would change in the semi finals. Maybe a final would be different.

To be honest I think we do ‘have to win it’ this year. Although it will be next year OP.
All the factors are there:
We have a team in its prime which is desperate to win the league.
The opposition are a bit weaker this year of having an off start to the season.
Klopp will want to cement a place in Liverpool history and the only way he will really be regarded as a great is to win the league.
If we don’t win it it won’t be down to lack of guts just that we were not quite good enough. I don’t think this team has ever looked fearful in Klopps time at the club.
But we have never had a better chance and a lot can change in a season.
