Why don’t you just ignore each other?

There’s many different types of wum.

I believe rosso coined it well when he catagorised some of the types ( make a good thread itself), two stood out that are effective.

‘Blockbuster’ style wum. He said likes of wahl..
‘Oscar winners’ the more sly, slow burn style, that require more subtle engagement.

I’m reminded of one of them somehow on this thread..

What?

I used to wum. Threads would turn into smiley fest's, I used to particularly enjoy winding up Liverpool supporters. But there came a point where it just became banal, mundane and basically ridiculous. You get drawn into to the never ending tīt for tat almost obsessive need to have the last word or the sledgehammer put down. At times it would go on for days, sometimes it would clearly get to you. Looking back it just seems so pointless, especially when real life gets so real at times and you find yourself facing challenges which make you reflect on what's important, so I dip in and out these days and mainly read rather than write.
And you still see the same old suspects doing the same old thing and I just look at it for what it is. A load of old nonsense that some on here take far too seriously. Honestly, life serves up some shītty stuff and sometimes you need to take a step back and reflect on what this stuff is really about. Insults, threats, trolling and the general level of seriousness is pathetic frankly. A good old wum is great. But this dark, obsessive, following, bullying etc is just plain wrong. Surprised Admin let it go on. Sometimes i thnk admin need to force filter some users from each other for the good of their mental health and the user experience of the site.
Anyway. There you go.
