Really pleased with Katic signing.
Was worried where his head was considering he's been in and out
It's tough for our CBs considering all 4 have impressed when they have had opportunities.
I wonder if Goldson will ever get dropped seems to be 1 place between 3 of them atm
Well done to both of them 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Was also very pleased with Katic getting a new deal, maybe shut up some of the... where is Katic comments every time a team lineup is announced without him starting, really does my head in how random Internet cvnts think they know better than the guys who have take the coaching and see the players day in day out and do their analysis... naw but big tam thinks goldson is pash, why’s he playing ahead of Katic

I'm not against that to be honest.
Good for consistency and he's clearly the fittest
I like Goldson. He's had a few moments but that happens to all defenders especially when you play as often as he does.
I like all 4 of them tbh, Helander had a dodgy game v Livi but we won and kept a clean sheet so no real complaints and Edmundson hasn't had any tough tests yet but he looks a talent.
Do you think Kent will start this weekend?
When United won a POTM and MOTM award this season we subsequently lost the following game.
It often happens like that, bizarrely.

It really amazes me when people slate Goldson. All our CBs have different attributes.
We often have >60% possession and play teams that retreat and let our CBs have the ball. Goldson is the one charged with bringing the ball out from the back - and he is pretty good at it.
Of course he will make the odd mistake but he is a CB who is asked to take risks with the ball.
People need to remember that this is an age where teams like Brighton pay £20m for a CB from the English Championship who no one outside of Bristol had really heard of. In Golsdon we got a leader at the back with decent experience for £3m which is buttons for the English market.
Katic is a very good young defender who I love - like most Rangers fans do - because he always give is all. But he isn't the finished article yet. He is prone to lapses in concentration and he isn't yet good enough on the ball to be the one who constantly brings it out from the back.
We are fortunate now to have four very decent CBs.
I'm delighted with the progress that SG and the team have made.
We now have two players for every position (at least) and each one is very comfortable and competent.
Several players have come in pretty much under the radar and not exactly with a fanfare of trumpets. Guys like McGregor, Davis, Defoe, Stewart have came in and been excellent. We've even got Andy King, A Premiership winner who hasn't had much game time. I'd imagine he'll have some impact over the season.
We now have a strong backbone to the team and guys who have loads of experience and who the younger players will look up to, especially Defoe and Davis.
Katic said in his interview after signing his contract extension that even though he's a young guy away from home he now has a family of 30 guys in the squad and he feels he can talk to any one of them at any time because the squad is bonded so well. No one feels out of place and everyone is fighting for a starting place. It's all very positive.
Was interesting to hear the Killie lad Findlay on the radio last night.
He named Greig Stewart as the best player he had ever played with. Said he was 'frightening' in training.
High praise from a guy who has played with Celtic, Newcastle and now Scotland.
Plus he played with Kirk Broadfoot.

He's been very impressive recently, imagine he was a clinical finisher he would have banged in a load of goals already.
Probably be bombed from the side with Kent back and Ojo having some dirt on Gerrard.
I've said it on a few threads but Stewart has been one of our best signings this season. He really has been excellent when he has played and looks like an integral part of the team. He looks really sharp and adds something to the team that our other wingers aside from Kent haven't been able to bring.

he said for 6 months Stewart was frightening, got to think if he had stayed at Killie how far they could've went in the league race, did he not say Shelvey was the best though?
enjoyed his views on Morelos and Edouard, great insight by someone who plays against them
Kent and Stewart wide v Hearts would be a good watch.
What did Finlay say about those two?
asked him who was the best he's played against n said Edouard was a different level to any other striker in Scotland
said you know how to defend against Morelos but he punishes any mistake you make, when he spoke about it, it seems so easy he said Morelos gives you a chance and when you commit he bullies you
said he has no idea how to defend against Edouard because you've got no idea what he's going to do, said you've got your eye on him for 40 minutes and you blink n he's in 10 yards of space running towards you or scoring a goal
said Morelos is very good though streets ahead of anyone else but not on the same level as Edouard
he comes across very well Findlay, had a very tough career so far, seems like he's growing in confidence though and loves playing for his country which is nice to see
he was talking about how tough it is on your body against the teams outwith the old firm, said you get dragged down the line, running all over the place, running to head the ball every 2 minutes
said its mentally draining playing against the old firm but not physically
Fair comment i think from what i see from them both. I think Edouard is more talented but maybe not as effective and would be better in a side that doesn't come up against as many packed defences.
I like Findlay's attitude but not convinced of his ability. I would worry if he was a Scotland regular because he's been ragdolled to easy v us and if he's no idea what to do with Edouard, i would hate to see him v a Lewandowski etc.
I've criticised him plenty on here, so fair dues to Gerrard, he has done well in the league the past month or so. Lets hope it continues.
Morelos has been great this season so far as well. I think Defoe has taken him under his wing and that's helped calm his temper a bit.
Good news about Katic as well. Just need to get him back in the starting 11 alongside Edmundson.
I think if all defenders are fit it'll be McKenna and Souttar
I think our CBs are much of a muchness.
This can apply to Scotland and Rangers tbf
Except for Scotland that is a bad thing and for Rangers a good one.
