Not as a number 10 or advanced midfielder

Doucoure is not a DM. He always has Capoue or Chalobah with him.
And he has been pretty crap for a season and a bit.

Doucoure would simply be yet another Energizer Bunny with no positional discipline, constantly abandoning his post and running wherever the ball happens to be.

He's no different to what we have clogging up all the age groups at Arsenal.

I'd take a lump like Wilfred Ndidi over him any day. Someone content to sit deep, break up play, and make 5-yard sideways passes.

This would also offer everyone else the freedom to run rampant and take risks. Something we're seriously lacking at the moment.

We need to play him a DM or DLP

Vieira use to run around without discipline but he had Gilberto or Petit to do the screening so maybe we need Dacoure and Ndidi Torreira gets easily bullied.
