Look at all the played 9, won 3. Us and 5 others. 7 have won 2. The only "embarrassing" team is Watford win 0 wins, 4 draws. Guess what? We played them at home today in a brand new £1 billion shiny stadium and, well, we played 5 Defenders and 2 Defensive Midfielders and we couldn't even beat them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Far to many supporters, both our own and opposition, are still living in a fantasy world that Spurs are far too good to get sucked into a relegation battle. Form is the worse of any team in the division over the past 10 months, yet supporters are still sticking their heads in the sand. Unbelievable really.

Oh ffs get a grip

Stop acting so entitled

We’ve punched above our weight for the last few seasons and now it’s not all going right the dummies come flying out.

I’ve seen us win league and f a cups and loved it

I never thought I’d see us in a champions league final but I stood in that stadium in Madrid and watched us in one.

I get the frustration of watching how poor we look but don’t get the hysteria by some who think we’re entitled to win things
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I wouldn't mind losing every game if we at least played like our hearts were in it, like the good old-fashioned attractive forward-pressing To Dare Is To Do, Push And Run, 5 Strikers up front, team we are known for. We have become worse than "boring boring Arsenal". I don't mind we have won sweet FA over the past couple of decades, I enjoy watching us with the likes of Defoe, Bale, Sheringham, Anderton, Van Der Vart, etc.

We pay to be entertained, I'd hate to be Mancunian Citay to be honest. Always detested Chelsea's style of play. But right now all this has been thrown in our faces. We are butt ugly and nauseating to watch

You both need a change. Don't think it's a coincidence the squads heart isn't in it anymore since Poch's complaining started ramping up. Teams often reflect the commitment of their managers and strong signs point to Poch not wanting to be there anymore - if he's not committed, why should the players be?

You both need to move on. Poch needs a new challenge/an owner who'll open his wallet occasionally, and Spurs need a serial winning manager now to kick on, not a manager who skill lies in developing players.

Just my outside view.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Absolutely mate. the Poch era is well and truly finished. He will never voluntarily leave, because he knows he wouldn`t last five minutes at any other top club. So it is up to Levy to pull the trigger.

Yup the football is awful, I enjoyed our football much more when we were in the old second division. Right now, it is absolute slow, turgid sideways and backwards rubbish, and has been for months.

And it was a great atmosphere too. Players would score, run up to Harry, all beaming smiles, etc, etc. Very tasty times they were. He actually got us 4th for the first time.

This season it’s mid table form, not relegation.. but yeah, still very poor.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Evening Edbo, well that went well again today.

Sorry I didn`t catch up with you today, I wasn`t on the bevvy today, didn`t really fancy one. But I will be in the ground early on Tuesday, aroundabout 6pm, so if you fancy a pint, let me know. I will definitely be having a couple.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No worries mate, not going on Tuesday.. next time

Nah that's harsh. I do agree in thinking the Poch era is finished but he is a very good manager, you both just need different things going forward. He'll get United if they come to their senses and sack Solskjaer, and you'll probably get Allegri.... win/win for both clubs IMO.

posted on 19/10/19

May be teams now know how to play Pochettino. He sets up his team to be play high line and and be very aggressive all the time against any team. He got you as far as he could.

He won`t last five minutes at United mate, they won`t put up with him like Spurs do. He will come under pressure from day one if he ever went to Old Trafford. He is on easy street at WHL, seemingly untouchable, however bad the results.

Mad to say a relegation fight, to me it’s just a hangover from getting so near to taking a major trophy last season.

From a rivals point of view I hope you get rid of Poch. I can see some real upheaval happening if he goes.

posted on 19/10/19

It’s how I said it all along, we will lose a minimum of one very three so that will be around at least 12 defeats this year in the league and I don’t thing we will get top four so it really depends what road spurs want to go down for next season with no CL football, we got away with it last year we won’t this year........

Fnk bin-dipper trolling Sandy

Bin-dipper would love us get rid off the man who got us in top 4 which was to detriment of their club. Then Liverpool took Arsenal's place in top 4.

They would love us lose Poch who stayed true to his principles, unlike Kloppy. Two face Klopp used to moan about clubs buying glory and then went and bought 5/6 players fans spend £200m in 2 transfers.

I know we will turn it around and remembetr the premier league is a marathon, not a sprint. Bin dippers were self proclaiming champions at Xmas last year and then it all went to pot

Without spending like Klopp, Poch got us to CL. We didn't win it, but it was difficult to win a game where the ref blindly gave a pen within 2 mins of the game for an accidental handball.
For a club of Spurs financial outlay, I think Poch has done better than Klopp. Liverpool went to 2 finals and won 1. There is no reason why Spurs can't get to CL final again. And now reason, we won;t win it.

It is obvious why trolls from that club want Poch out. Shame Spurs fans don't appreciate what we have and just because we are in a transition, these fans want the manager out.

And some clamouring for Harry Redknapp

Fickle fans

I agree this is a horrible situation .... 70% possession at home against a winless bottom side and can't win.
But I will say this in Pochettino's defense .....
Levy has to take some of the blame.
When he did start buying players again ... too little too late .... two of them have never yet seen the playing field... Lo Celso and Sessignon.
This is an old squad now ... several key players in the final year with us ......
and yet ... nothing new on the pitch.
It is not ALL Pochettino's fault.

But if you want to shake things up ... go for it ..sack Pochettino.. and then ask who's going to take the job with Levy in charge?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's all on Pichettino. Why do some of us keep overlooking the Manager 's INSANE and INCOMPREHENSIBLE bench choices, substitutes, team tactics, etc.

Levy could buy Messi, Aguero, Christiano Ronaldo and Suarez, but guess what? They'll be on the bench and maybe brought on with 5 minutes to go. Not once, but every single game. The team might instinctively want to start an attack but Pichettino's strategy would be, "dont risk it guys, pass it backnto the keeper, just to be safe"
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree with you, all this pass it around and backwards is rubbish.
Luckily we have Sissoko who believes in going forward with the ball.
But I don't think even Pochettino could leave Messi, Aguero, and Ronaldo on the bench. Suarez maybe

6 months of relegation form... Yeh let's keep him... He's not a winner, talks nonsense and has us playing turgid football... What's not to like

What makes you think any other manager would change things with our current squad of players?

Sandy,
A ridiculous comment made to get attention. Spurs are playing poorly this season, but relegation trouble claim shows lack of knowledge of PL as a whole.

We may not agree politically Weare, and I have no problem with that. Each to their own, but on the current situation at Spurs we are both singing from the same hymnsheet. You would have to be blind to not see what is currently unfolding at the moment at WHL.

Sandy 100% with you now, POCH out!!!!!! I am sick to death of him
----------------------------------------------------------------------
see I don't see how it changes with poch in, but I don't want him sacked... strange feeling
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Chronic , his formation today was the last straw for me. I called it right on the match thread. 5 at the back and 2 defensive midfielders against Watford at homewhat planet is this guy on ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
we always look better with 4 at the back, not sure what poch was playing at going with the 3-5-1-1 or whatever it was meant to be first half. every single time he does that we look facking awful and have to change it at half time, never learns.
