But if they want out, why are they playing? Who’s decision is it to play players who don’t want to be there?

Sandy what exactly about

1) Players getting older
2) Players wanting to leave
3) Players not being good enough
4) Players not being brought
5) Players being injured

Do you fail to understand and consider in your criticisms of Pochettino?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

What about Pochettino being a fraud? And getting paid to manage a Prem team, and not being able to get them to win more than half a dozen Prem games in 2019, and not an away win in the Prem since January.

If every manager used the sort of excuses you use for Poch, no manager in history would ever get the sack.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What other manager in the Prem has the same expectations and equal lack of investment who isn't going through the same thing?

Damned if you do damned if you don't.

If they play and are awful because they dont want to play = we lose = Poch is blamed

If we play others = they arent good enough = we lose = Poch is blamed

Look I get you are Pochetinos number one fan on the board along with a few others, but when things were going OK, he took the praise, now things are going wrong, he has to shoulder the blame. Simple really.

Levy saw Pochettino doing a great job with the CL finishes and thought he hit the jackpot. Got complacent with the squad rebuild and instead decided to pay Pochettino more to stay and hope it continued forever.

Complacency makes you take your eye off the issue. He was too caught up in the stadium costs and NFL deals that he assumed everyone was always happy to stay playing for the club.

Its come crashing now. The reason im against Poch leaving is because its the club operations which needs a reshuffle in strategy.

Unfortunately i do see Pochettino going at some point and we will continue repeating mistakes. How have we not learned yet over the past 10 years that its not just the managers fault?

He got praised for transforming the team and criticised for certain choices like the game Son played LWB.

But he can't control players not getting what they think they deserve and wanting to leave. He cant control the club spending billions on infrastructure at the expense of players deteriorating and not investing to change it up.

You just refuse to consider more than 1 variable and everything has to be black and whit to you.

Remember when everyone said how good `Poch was..that he gave youth a chance. Funny how when the pressure is on we have seen no glimpses of our great academy. Just like all the other managers.... he’s loaned out talent and refused to promote.

If we are lacking energy and commitment to his tactics surely in the last 5 years we should have some players ready to step up into then squad.

No mate, it is all about results, and the results since January in the Prem have been simply shocking.

As I said in another article, make no mistake Spurs are in a relegation battle this season. Cannot buy an away win, and the home form is not very good either. Second half of the season, sees all the really good teams coming to WHL, and the way Spurs are playing they aint got a hope in hell of winning any of them, so if they don`t pick up the points at home in the first part of the season up until Xmas, then they will be in really serious trouble come April time 2020.

The results have dipped for several reasons. You choose to ignore all but one.

Poch being good with youth is an absolute myth. He has hardly promoted any player from within. Nearly all other clubs have plenty of players stepping up from their youth teams and doing well.

Not sure how he does it but Poch seems to have duped quite a lot of supporters into thinking he is actually better than what he is.

Our academy isn’t a great academy though.

The players who should be now hitting the team were t good enough - CCV, Onomah, Edwards, Sterling, KWP*

And the next in lines aren’t ready - Tanganga, Skipp, Roles, Parrott

Our problem is we aren’t loan these ones out to get the experience to make sure they are ready when the time comes.

* personally I think kwp would’ve been good enough if we didn’t fail his development the last few years. Should’ve been on loan getting experience instead of in no mans land training and not playing

Hugo if you are going to insult me because you have this fanatical love in with Pochettino then I shall have to filter you. Try to show some respect. Pochettino is not doing his job properly, deal with it.

I don't understand how you can be so narrow minded and not consider and assess all the factors which have resulted in this situation.

Do you genuinely believe everything at the club has been perfect and blame is ruining this team because that would be an absolute joke

Boss all managers in history get the sack with the kind of form Pochettino is overseeing. Would you have giving the same backing to AVB, Ramos, Sherwood, who had the same chairman, same financial situation as Poch, I very much doubt it.

Did any of those managers show the same level of ability to take a team forward as Poch has done over the last 5 years??

You are acting like weve been awful under Poch this whole time and this is the final straw

Ramos won a trophy. The first sign of a few bad results he was sacked. The other two were never really given a chance.

If youre going on about ALL managers struggling with the same chairman and financial situations why not start pointing your finger at the chairman and financial situation instead of bringing im another manager who you will inevitably write #OUT articles about

Ramos was sacked as we had 2 points from 8 games iirc

We currently have 12 points from 9.

Not even comparable

posted on 19/10/19

Juande Ramos won 38% of games
Pochettino won 54%

Sherwood got his chance he was just bad. If its going from for Pochettino why doesnt he get a chance to rectify?

By your reckoning Hugo, Pochettino could lose every game this season, and you would still want him in charge. Are you sha/////ing his wife by any chance? Honestly I have never met a supporter that defends a manager with this sort of record. I take it you don`t actually spend your hard earned money at WHL to watch the dross on offer.

None of the aforesaid managers went eight months without an away win, and presided over such a shocking loss of form with inferior players. Ramos also won a trophy in his two seasons with a far inferior set of players to what Pochettino has had.

How is that by my reckoning?

And what has going going to watch games got to do with being a fan and watching our football? Whether i go 20 times one year or 8 times the next it doesnt make me more or less of a fan the year i went more.
