Him and KDB are my favourite non Liverpool players.

Silva is like a fine wine, getting better the older he gets.

KDB is like a Scholes/Gerrard hybrid - he’s just the perfect midfielder.

Sadly I can't see KDB's body holding anymore. Its a sad thing to say but what he wants to do on the pitch and what his body can actually do are 2 different things.

Once those niggling injuries start to come up every now and then its difficult to maintain form as a footballer. Same for Mendy.the guy is a supreme athlete, a tank of a full back with probably the best delivery among fullbacks world wide but I doubt his body can hold up.

I have seen enough players at arsenal whose careers eventually go to sheit because of injuries. Its sad really.

People talk about Liverpool being lucky with injuries but its not about that.Certain players just have bodies that can withstand anything.

Would you say Sterling or Bernardo Silva are lucky with injuries??? Thats nit true, they run and press more than any other player in the league but never miss games due to injury.

Mata seasons are a little over stated, he was brilliant but a lot of his goals and assists came from set pieces.

That doesn't take away anything from him as a player however in terms of playing style he isn't that close to Silva.

Will go down as my all time favourite player. He can open a tin of baked beans with that left foot

I remember when I used to debate with clowns on here years ago who used to think that Ozil is better than Silva.

Silva will probably go down as the best playmsker in tbr league

Statistically he won't go down as the best play maker Castor, I don't even need to look at the stats unless the majority of his assists are pre assists. He played deeper under Mancini but he has a different role now under Pep.

Longevity makes things simple but Özil in form Was something else. He was a unique player.

Fabregas hit heights no playmaker has since in England but didn't do it for long enough. That's why comparisons are always tricky. Giggs was never as good as Pires at his best but look at the career.

Although his stats are decent he is the epitome of a player who you can’t just judge by stats, similar to zola and bergkamp like that. One of the best players I’ve seen. Shown by last year when kdb was out yet it’s not really noticeable when they have silva and the chances the create.

Silva is a player who has good movement off the ball and roam between the lines but he can also do things when he has the ball. He is also underated with his hard work.

A complete player in terms of the modern playmaker.

Fabregas was dominating for years. How was it not long enough? Ozil of a few years ago was certainly on par with Silva. Talk about short memory.
