Keep him wide and get a proper CF in
Probably isn’t an out and out striker as he isn’t clinical enough for a start. Definitely think he can be a top supporting striker though.
I think with goalscorers, yes you can teach to an extent, but if it doesn’t come naturally it never fully will in the big moments.
I have always thought of him as an inside forward, not a striker. I would like to see an RvP type in the middle, with Rashford and Martial either side of him.
Martial on the Right 52 ?

Yes Big McT

Cool. Couldnt hurt to try over the course of the season before deciding if to pursue a winger
Should be buying a winger and a striker anyway. Which Ole seems to want. The Dembele and Sancho rumours never disappear and it’s been pretty much confirmed we’ve bid for Sancho

I know we enquired about Sancho. Another thing getting him.
None of our forwards will excel in this team unless there’s creativity.

Dunno both rashford and martial are best when using their skill and pace to create a chance rather than than being poachers
James , rash and martial all seem better on the left which is a conundrum

And both will benefit by someone threading balls through for them...
He'll not understand anyway i suppose
Yeah he’s a facking moron.
Going forward, it seems pretty clear that (at least in my opinion) Rashford is not a guy we should ever play as a lone #9.
He is best off the left side or on the left of a split striker role. He can’t hold up the ball well enough and likes to cut inside and shoot - best seen in the goals he scored against Liverpool a couple of seasons back and also against Bulgaria the other day.

Come on Robb, we know you haven't reached this conclusion on your own. Millions of people watched the game and will recall Gary Neville saying this almost word for word...
Like to see Martial given a good run up front in the coming weeks. With some favourable fixtures coming up it would be good for his confidence if he could ge ta goal or 2.
This has been quite obvious for some time. The same applies to Martial.
It works better for them both with the interchangeable role they had at the start of the season. Martial's injury stuffed that up.
