The deal is lucrative even when limited to kit unit sales which were 2.9 million last year.

When all other merchandise is factored in and the ability to open up Chinese markets, it could be closing in on the £90m-100m mark each year. I expect us to sell even more than the 2.9m that we did last year, this year. If we win the League, the new Nike kits will not be able to be made quick enough.

20 % 2.9m x say £60 net of sales = just under £35m. That is just for kit sales, not the 20% of everything Nike and LFC related products.

Yes the guarantee of £75m/year would be great because it is money in the bank, but I see no reason that merchandising sales will drop over the next 5 years.

I think we'd best hope that it doesn't come with any beach balls.

Chelsea 60m for 15 years? Wow.

Must be the most stupid deal in football at the moment.

It’s a poor deal and the reason is that the big brands want to be associated with winning teams.

Liverpool are known as a losing team, that don’t win titles and the face of their team is Klopp - a notorious loser, having lost so many finals.

its been claimed that nike are guaranteeing shirts being sold in 6000 worldwide stores.
so lets say estimate 5000 shirts per store in a year(that's approx.100 per week per store)
5000x6000 = 30mill shirts
30mill x £40 per shirt = £1.2 bill per year
1.2bill x 5years = £6bill
20% of £6bill = £1.2billion for us over 5 years

oh and plus the 30mill per year(150mill)

Our owners have never given us doubt they dno what theyre doing especially in this department where theyve gotten record deals before despite our stock being nowhere near as high as it is now... I’d wager itll prove to be the best deal in world football atm, until the next massive club negotiates a new one but even still maybe then too.

I have a feeling this deal will revolutionise the game in financial terms.

Fans of other teams will be laying into their management "why don't we have a deal like Liverpool's? What the fack are you doing?"

Just wait until the figures are released. We'll blow them all out of the water.
