Last year I felt he was too 'handsy' and got away with a lot.
Seems to have cut down on that and replaced it with diving into rash challenges and going to ground a lot as you say.
He's got great potential though.
I'm sure Brendan would be interested but it would be a strange one when he has Benkovic already and he can't get a game.

Much as I like him, I'd be quite happy with Jullien, bitton and el hamed as options at CB. I'd let him go if the money was right.

Meh lazy press reporting no doubt, so that will be him, Ntcham, Christie, McGregor and Edouard gone come January 😂

I like Ajer, terrific players. Still young so naivety causes mistakes but I'd keep him another 10 years in there

I think people should be allowed to have and share different opinions on the site...maybe even change their mind from time to time or react to changing circumstances...like the club buying about 7 new defenders. Are you saying that they shouldn't?

Agreed.
No doubt some people thought we needed more defenders.
Then we signed 7.
It's not really a surprise if somebody thinks we might be able to lose one or two.

I thought Ajer was outstanding but has been a bit ropey recently to say the least.

Whilst I think Aberdeen were rank, I love his ability to step out, push forward & make a pass. The guy is very young with a fair bit to learn but love his commitment to celtic as well as his attitude. He can learn from those around him & we need to be behind players when they have an 'off' game. I'm sure we lost a cup game (St Mirren?) with Van Dijk & Denayer at cb.. Kris is younger & more experience now than Van Dijk did when with us.

Saying that... £10m + Benkovic hmm.

He's a player with a high ceiling, but he's very young and he could do with staying at Celtic until he's about 24, the attributes are all their, but the decision making can let him down on occasion.

I believe we are an excellent option for players like him.
