Blackburn should be comfortable, Fulham away though, with our record in London looks very tricky when that comes in December. We've got Luton and Hudds coming up after the inconvenience break.

Lost 3 games
- goalkeeping blunder
- awful red card and penalty decision
- last minute bobbled scuffed shot after dominating game

Agree re the red card and penalty loss however the other 2 could and should have been avoided if we could convert our chances
Next five or six look reasonable, we could be going into the Christmas period in a nice position.

We should already be well clear tbh. Just need goals now. Looking like ourselves and WBA for top 2, both sides look a step ahead of the rest, although we said that last season
If we find our shooting boots we could potentially walk this league as all good teams are built from the back and our defence including Kiko has been immense.
Defo... its all coming home again
Hang on lands keep ya feet on the ground, having short term memory loss as to what happened last season.

nah, its all coming home Kamara - then when the next time we don;t score we can all jump on JA606 and talk about Roofe and Pontus and how Radz has failed us with the badge that never happened and a pink away kit that's sold a gizilian replica's
WBA are the strongest team in the division. They're the only team to outplay us, are starting to perform consistently now and are scoring freely. Can see them pulling away.
Other than that, the teams around us are nothing special. On paper we have some easier games coming up too. Hoping we've got a solid position in the top two by Christmas.
Fulham lost 3-0 against Hull in their last match.
We're not Fulham, we have only conceded more than one goal as the result of cheating and collusion. Don't do game forecasts but will be surprised if we lose by three goals to any team.

didnt we go in front in that game, then ask them if they could break us down.
which they couldnt.
so we won.
Leedsrich, we were fortuitous to get the win in that game - whilst we've been robbed of victories in several other games this season.
Analysis is deeper than just looking at the result...
Good post. Just one thing. We are two points off top
Hopefully our next two home games yield six points but as you say this league is so tight and anyone can beat anyone.

Not sure many Barnsley fans believe this to be the case, they've only managed to beat the league's whipping boys to date.

Maybe but they’ve taken points off Derby, West Brom, Charlton, Bristol and Swansea.

im not campaigning for anything
im just saying when we keep a clean sheet its clearly not lucky.
we have the best defence in the country so its no fluke.
Campaigning??
Best defense by a mile
One things for sure if we had the worst goal difference in the world the defence would be labelled similarly - without any intellectual deep diving the nuances & what could have been of various results.
We’ve a good team & a good defence .... & they have Pirlo in the middle making it all gel.

We WERE lucky to win that one. WBA had the confidence to come to Elland Road and try to beat us at football, rather than park the bus and hope for a breakaway, and they might have done .. made for a thrilling match. Credit to them.
