Our match thread

It’s a live thread, people will be very reactionary to any small thing, we’re currently quite poor so many fans are generally frustrated, don’t take it too seriously.

It’s easy to moan, we all love to do it (I do it constantly at work, about work and United!), but I agree with you...

Tonight was great. We moan that every game is not like this one, so let’s enjoy it when we can. Some lovely football and some top goals.

Can’t wait for Sunday, just hope it’s as enjoyable as tonight. Well done lads

It cant be a forum without some criticism. But we always have same scapegoats even they do well.. Fred has been ok for past few games.. Mata was not bad today.

posted on 7/11/19

But Macguire was atrocious today... Nothing wrong in pointing that out...

This guy definitely has Stockholm Syndrome

posted on 7/11/19

And Pogba was definitely the reason we only scored 3, terrible performance, sell him to Madrid already

Macguire had his worst game today. Does it matter with 3 0?

So who had a great game Memphis?
Who had a poor one?
I didn't see you handing much praise out.

Tonight in first half was excellent. Second half was more like a practice game with rotating subs. Was expectiong Romero to be a fly goaly. Should have gone on to muller Belgrade and entertain the faithful. Going to watch football twice in 4 days is challenging and expensive. Lets hope they can entertain us again vs the on-form Deckchairs on Sunday and refrain from letting teams of the hook at Old Trafford, just cos they can.

52, aye

I get that threads are emotionally charged but I enjoyed that performance, of course there are positions we need to strengthen to get back to where we want but sometimes, especially atm, we simply need to enjoy a result?

Were a Europa standard team let’s rejoice whooopeeee!

Our match thread had predominantly two kinds of people on it.

Complete and utter morons. And good posters who become complete and utter morons for 90+ minutes.

Every day there are articles on the United board about how $hit our owners/chief exec/manager/players are

Every single day, some people are just born whingers

I have just got home late from work so missed the match.

I saw some idiot earlier claiming the keeper should have saved Greenwoods goal.

Having just watched it on youtube it is quite clear Greenwood sold it that he was going to curl it in the corner waited till he started to dive and put it in the other side of he goal.

A natural strikers instinct there.

Maguire wasn’t that bad, was he? Thought Fred was OK too - busy first half, though nothing to write home about. McTominay wasn’t quite at the races - some heavy touches. Rashford looked more confident than he has for a while.

Three good goals and a comfortable win.

also I don't think there's an issue in pointing out that finishing is not rashfords strong point. he misses a lot of chances against fodder.

martial was guilty too today and he is usually a pretty good finisher.

the build up play was good today and a lot of people will say look at the opposition, but the opposition don't stop you passing and moving like we did today, they will just defend it better.

not sure what got into the lads in the first half

I thought the two full backs were pretty good as was Greenwood. Rashford was lively but missed too many chances... Everyone else was about a 5/6.

It was a good win against a crappy side... Nothing more. I'm glad for it as its 4 wins from 5 but we pretty much just had to show up to win this game. No need to be handing out awards for that...

However if someone is crap even against shiet opposition like this then he should hear it!

I said we needed a performance and for 55 mins we got that.

Disappointed we took the foot off the pedal at 3-0 but not the worst complaint we could have.

I honestly don't think we're capable of putting in a 90 minute performance. Standards always slip in the second half. I know it may have looked like we were just seeing the game out yesterday, but regardless of scoreline, it happens in virtually every game and has done since even before Solskjaer came in.

Fitness levels still aren't what they should be, basically, imo

Yet McT had a mare
Young and Fred should never play for us again
Mata contributes nothing to the team
Rashford is crap
Maguire is crap.

It wasn't unlike our manager's winner against Liverpool in the 99 FA Cup.
