You should be able to put Sheffield to the sword, but you can never tell what Spurs will turn up, the good Spurs or bottler xi.

Should be able to, the way some supporters are talking though as if we are playing peak Barcelona. Pick the right attacking team, and I think it should be a thumping victory.

Yeah, you have the players to do them easily. Though you just never know with Spurs...

Sandy, completely agree mate. Sheffield United are exactly like the usual promoted teams that come up and start well. They will fall later on in the season and I expect them to be towards the bottom of the table. This is a home banker no excuses whatsoever to be dropping more points in the league today. That being said, all depends on Pochettino’s team selection. I just don’t get why he would need to drop GLC after such a brilliant game midweek. I’ll be so annoyed if he drops GLC and Foyth who were outstanding Wednesday

We should be beating them but 4 or 5 nil might be asking a lot. They haven't even lost by more than 1 goal this season.

Spurtle, if Poch goes back to the same old s** instead of the dynamic team we put out Wednesday, then I see us struggling. I still think we will win, but will be a struggle.

Don, I think we could get a win despite maybe Aurier or Eriksen starting, but yes it will be tricky, even with a strong team starting. Let's hope it's not the worst case scenario where he plays Aurier, Eriksen and Winks and puts GLC and Ndombele on the bench.

It does not depend on Pochettino`s team selection at all, whoever he picks are good enough to do a job and beat Sheffield Utd. It depends on the starting XI`s desire, commitment, application, heart, effort etc etc. All these players are being paid disgusting amounts of money by THFC, and they should go out there and earn it, whoever they are and whatever there problems /agendas etc.

Some players will not be able to start 2 games in 3 days for various reasons, so there will be changes to freshen up the team, and rightly so. We had a tough away trip in midweek, while SU have had all week to rest and prepare, playing the same starting team as Red Star would be foolish, as some of them will no doubt be slightly off the pace.

Billy. No excuses mate , there’s an international break coming up. If other players can play 2 games in a week, then I see no reason why GLC can’t. He’s fully fit now and being called up to Argentina. If Poch drops him for Eriksen after the game he had, then I’ll be livid.

Normally I'm supportive of changes after a long trip away midweek but I agree with you on this one. If we're going to get out of this rut then we need to be consistent with team selection until we're through it. I don't believe it's the way forward long term but in this instance, it's important to keep a settled side whilst we we navigate through tricky times.

Don’t change a winning team mate. You don’t see Liverpool or City making wholesale changes on a weekly basis. Poch needs to go with the young and vibrant line up we set up against in the CL.

Rumours of changes from where Sandy?

If Poch does make changes and we lose the match, I can see fans start to turn on him. I don't think there is any Spurs fan out there that believes we should be starting Eriksen, or not starting Ndombele and GLC.

I hope Poch has the common sense to go with the same team as midweek. Imperative we get a win but a win with style would be appreciated. Please Poch, no changes for change sake.

Poch has a squad of 25 players to choose from. If he's only playing 11 off them all the time, he might as well keep another 4 for the subs, and sell the rest.

If others are not good enough then that's Levy's problem. He should make sure we have quality in every position ideally.

My view is that Ndombele is still struggling to play more than 60 mins, so if he does play then he won't finish the game. Ndombele right now is the most creative player in form we have. I think he will start but will get subbed. Probably with Eriksen coming on.

Lo Celso was good in Europe, but has yet to show anything in the prem league.

Poch might take a punt on him and plsy him from the start. Foyth was great in midweek, but tends to play international games too, so maybe he'll get a rest today.

All these are speculations.

Just saw the team sheets, and yes I am spot on.

Those rumours Sandy heard are false.

I guess Sheff United weren't that easy to beat then.

"4 or 5 nil with the correct team selection."
Are you that deluded, sandy? Firstly, Sheffield are 5th on their own merit and deserve the be there. It means that they deserve at least some respect from the opposition.

Second point will cause some hurt, but it's the truth: Tottenham aren't that good anymore. Predicting to win with those big numbers have more in common with wishful thinking than reality. Some humble pie will do your senses good.
