I'll take the points any way we can get them, but its nail biting stuff last 20 minutes of every game.

I watched the second half. Blackburn never had a single attempt on target. We were always in control but once again we failed to set up real clear cut chances. We fought well to regain possession, pressed well and looked fitter overall. Scoreline doesn’t suggest we were comfortable, but in reality we were and fully deserved the 3 points

Bamford was in the box and waiting twice when Harrison went for goal. Poor decision making from him.

Peak, not sure we looked fitter, thought we gave away possession a lot second half, but I'm thankful Rovers has no real chances on goal second half otherwise we could well have been dropping 2 points.

Roofe now 5 goals in 5 games for Anderlecht....

I said this in the thread, and I know the guy's polarizing.
But, I've long thought I'd love to see Mitrovic in our team.
He's pretty much the best striker in this division. With the chances we create, he'd be lethal.

I know this won't happen. Unless the QSI investment is real and Fulham are crazy enough to sell him.

People must of been watching a different game. Good performance and should have been more

Thought Klich was anonymous today. I would like to see Tyler playing in Klich's position. He looked dangerous every time he got the ball today, but he was not far enough up the pitch to make it count.

Was a laboured performance in my opinion but still enough to get the job done and I was impressed with Whites coolness and distribution. We will need to play a lot better against Fulham and Hull.

Actually thought we created a number of good chances today. Second half, Harrison had two really good opportunities to score or set up a team mate and missed the target both times.

Blackburn had 1 shot on target and it was from a set piece. They couldn't touch us and it was a comfortable win and they were lucky it wasn't by more.

Happy enough, only way I see us conceding is from set pieces, someone's getting it soon and hopefully it will be when it matters, Harrison getting better each game for me think by Christmas we will have a player,

I seldom feel that when he has the ball in the opposition box, that anything will come of it. He doesn't play the right ball to the right player. Bamford made some lovely runs today and Harrison never found him. If those two can click, we will score a lot more goals.

@Jonty - like you, am waiting for Costa to show what he is apparently about. Am liking Roberts though

@Wakey - Ayling couldn't pass today, thought he made too many sloppy mistakes for no reason

re Bamford - he was very frustrated every chance we had as he was in good positions for a pass. But after him wasting so many chances over the last 10 matches, in some ways I am not surprised players aren't looking for him. Plus Bielsa will have made it clear he wants more goals from the rest of the team

Alex Mowatt has more assists this season than Costa.

Bielsa really has to work out how to get the most out of him.

One wonders why we committed to buy him if Bielsa has fixed systems and doesn't feel Costa really fits into those.

Mowatt wouldn’t get on our bench.

Wonder if your anxiety was because you were listening to Blackburn commentary and were being told what to think Jonty. I was listening to Glynn (who I don't particularly like as a commentator) and Becks and other than the corners felt we were in control throughout and Kiko was certainly the least busy. Have to bear in mind how miserable the weather was.

Agree with Wakey, Ayling played some pretty good stuff out there and apart from one pass which went straight to one of their guys (I can hear Bryon Butler in my head).
I think he has got better game on game. Matter of opinions.

Interested to watch how many of the Leeds squad went up to Dack to give him a hug at full time. Player I think could really add to our squad and looks like he wouldn't need much bedding in.

Costa been good the last 2 games.

Assists are a bit of a rubbish stat to judge a player on. You play a 3 yard pass to someone who scores a screamer from 30 yards and you get an assist. You play a perfect pass for a tap in and a striker misses, no assist.

Dack was Blackburns standout player today. Him and Eze from QPR in January would be lovely.

I Liked Dack since last season, would be very happy if we got him.

Can’t measure people on goals, can’t measure them on assists.....15mill, should be delivering more for that money. The question is, is it the player or is it the coach and his system?

Overall we were good today, some strong performances but I thought Ayling was dreadful....he looked well off the pace.

Costa, Harrison, Klich looked great and Pablo looked sharp when we came on

Not saying you can't judge them on it, just think you need the context to it as well based on what we've seen.

Costa played a great ball across the face of the goal against QPR that Bamford was inches away from. Good wing play but no assist to show for it.

Whatever happens we need to add a couple in to bolster our team in January. Give ourselves the best chance possible this time.
