To be honest there was only two players who looked like they really cared, like they really wanted to match Liverpool's energy and fight and they were Sterling and Walker. This is why both were the most frustrated players on the pitch.

Sterling did alright with no help.. few times your defence did some good blocks and doubled on him.
Sergio was poor.
The 2 balls for your 2nd 3rd were the difference. Was a close game really and you deserved it.

Yeah. Sterling was very unlucky. Some great blocks after he got past defenders a few times, notably the one from Lovren who was excellent. Support for him wasn't great.

Ye he played well lovren. Even tho looking at that 3rd bravo should of got something on it.. i think ederson would of. Thats no excuse tho pep bought him.

Sterling was rubbish first half and second half I thought he was best player on pitch. He has really improved his game since leaving liverpool.

Sterling was thorn in our side for the whole second half.

Sterling still hasnt got a CL medal.though...eh boys

Thought B Silva looked decent for them. Raheem had a lot of space but didn't do that much with it.

I thought silva was great too but they didn't get the ball to him enough. Shows how good this city side are, dodgy decisions that have been mentioned to death, they seemed off the boil, and still could have got something from the game at (imo) the toughest away ground to go to.

Think this is the beginning of the end for that city dominance, toure and kompany gone, silva and aguero ageing.
