I once knew a guy from when I played for Northern Ireland Schoolboys and we got on really well, a nice guy. Our school played against his and I did a lighthearted kick to his ankle expecting him to turn around and laugh. He cuffed me instead. I thought better of getting involved as there were loads of people on the sidelines from his school, being it was an away match. Grabbed him by the scruff when I next saw him and he laughed it off and apologised. I let it go. All over.

It's nothing ffs. Miss one game, apologise, move on.

I'm not sure Southgate has handled this well, if the reports that he initially sent Sterling home and then got him back after senior players got involved are true.

Not sure why it wasn't entirely dealt with in house.

It's funny that Gary Neville did joke about team bonding issues for southgate during last Sunday's commentary.

Maybe southgate should have preempted this type of situation happening

I haven’t seen a battle like Winston v Toor since I saw Split in the cinema...

I realised a while ago that TOOR never, ever budges from his entrenched view - even if there is overwhelming evidence to prove him wrong, he just digs his heels in.
