By the people strongly defending Suarez and then strongly criticising Silva. I don't believe it's possible to do that without being hypocritical.

i would have to agree at this remove.

At the time suarez story was one where it was a feeling of fit up and evra having been sent out to get a reaction to get a red card.

However the t shirts came after fa decision and was silly.

in 2019 however people should know better and the suarez incident woudnt be allowed to fester if it occurred today.

the silva case is very different. Its more of a i can't beleive you idtiots think the internet is not a public place and i can't beleive after all the education you are supposedly given that you didn't think twice.

If Silva has only been given a one match for what some of you claim was a racist tweet then the Eight match ban which Suárez got shows what a racist Suárez was and cannot be defended anymore by the fans and the club.

Even Carragher said the club was wrong.

I remember gollys being banned very clearly and unfortunately I was read the books as a child but I'm not offended in the slightest, I just think it was stupid.

I suspect the vast majority of people who claim to have an issue with it didn’t know. I suspect the people involved didn’t know.

If you need to look something up to have a problem with it then you don’t really have a problem.

And as I said, it’s used legally. If it were an illegal image it’d be different.
