When did Werner work under Klopp?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
January 1st 2020
Looked very similar to Lukaku when I've watched him in the group stages of the CL. Strong, holds the ball up, target man, good in the air.
......
Lukaku doesn't hold the ball up. It kept pinging off his shins.

Or it would seem United fans got on his back, made him a scapegoat, he went elsewhere and picked up the form he was in before joining United, started banging them in, whilst United continued to be crap and had to find a new scapegoat.

Really? I don't have access to every United fan in the world but certainly this appeared to be the case on here. I mean he did score 42 goals in 77 games which is better than a one in two goal rate. Yet he was blamed every time United didn't get a positive result. He was then hung out to dry by the manager and had to move as a consequence.

What you have pretty much done is what misinformed pundits have been doing for years, which is to look at his frame and make an assumption on the things he is good at. (Holds the ball up? Dont make me laugh)

Nope, the fact that you don't just proves you're one of the people who wished to scapegoat him for the team being poor.
I often watched him being excellent with hold up play, even at United, then pinging an excellent 40 yard pass to the wing, before getting into the box.
Not suited to the way the manager wanted to play is a fair comment, if the manager wants to play a different way but considering you have one of the list amount of chances created in the league from open play and one of the most, when including set pieces, it does seem a strange argument at the moment.

Errr I have seen him a hell of a lot more than you in a United shirt. Its hardly some myth that his first touch was truly abysmal...because it really was. It would bounce off him at all angles. He was hardly scapegoated as many players got criticism and rightly so. He was lazy, overweight and awful last season. Plus his record in the big games was truly shocking at United which ultimately how a player tends to get judged. His hold up play is shocking and the fact you think its good is actually laughable. Think you will find veey few united fans would agree with you and I think we are a better judge unless you miraculously watched all our games

In all comps i was looking at.
Point is 9 at this point isn't an enormous return. Certainly not enough to make up for his deficiencies.
Seems to me that TOOR doesn't know what the word 'scapegoat' means.
Bit embarrassing tbh.

I'm what way do you think he's nothing like Lukaku? Looked very similar to Lukaku when I've watched him in the group stages of the CL. Strong, holds the ball up, target man, good in the air.
‐---------------------------
Then it would seem you haven't watched very much of Lukaku
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Or it would seem United fans got on his back, made him a scapegoat, he went elsewhere and picked up the form he was in before joining United, started banging them in, whilst United continued to be crap and had to find a new scapegoat.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
More lies from TOOR.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Which part do you find is a lie and why?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s a lie that United fans made him a scapegoat.
Hope this helps.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As I said, more lies.
You do like a good myth, don’t you?

Irrelevant nonsense
What you have pretty much done is what misinformed pundits have been doing for years, which is to look at his frame and make an assumption on the things he is good at. (Holds the ball up? Dont make me laugh)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, I watched him play and saw him being good at holding the ball up. Not many better in fact.

As for banging them in - has has scored as many goals as Rashford this season I believe
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He has scored 9 goals in 12 games, whereas Rashford has scored 6 in 12. Not that I'm saying Rashford is a poor player, I rate him highly. Just Lukaku is the more finished article and probably better as a lone striker than Rashford is.

The fact that you think lukaku is good at holding the ball up and better than most just again proves football is not for you
