Pereira is not a good player Im afraid. He wouldn't get in any of the other teams from last years top six. He doesn't have a position.

At 24, he is relatively inexperienced, but he is a good player. Unfortunately, like many others, has been used in many positions.
He's the brazilian Joe Allen.
He's nearly 24, not some kid.
Pereira has had 2 full seasons in La Liga in addition to the time spent with us and he still hasn't shown enough quality to take us where we want to be.
The same goes with Lingard. Mata unfortunately just doesn't have the physical attributes to make an impact.

He also plays well for us in a pretty average side.

Pereira does show the required determination and attitude, but not, as has already been mentioned, the quality to get is back to where we want to be.

Plenty of trash? Overstating that I think.
Pereira for me is a good squad player and should be well behind Lingard, Mata and Matic in the get rid list.
