Because of his lack of game time it seems Real Madrid may enter into negotiations to end Vallejo’s season long loan with Wolves in January. Under the terms of the agreement Wolves could insist he stays here until the summer but from what we have seen so far it’s probably in everyone’s interest to bring the deal to an end
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not sure what's gone wrong here, a lot of Wolves fans have dismissed him as a kid that's been fobbed off on to us by Madrid with little prospect of making it at this level, and to be fair judging him by his performances that's fair.

But in fact he's 22, and has over 100 first team appearances under his belt including 25 in the Bundesliga for Eintract Frankfurt and 12 in La Liga for Real Madrid. He was made captain at Zaragosa aged 18. There must be a pretty decent player there, but the sloppy, indecisive one we've seen looks destined for obscurity.

Yeah i don't get it Goldi, he really does look out of his depth but of course that can't be the case so you can only assume he is struggling to bed in and lacking in confidence.

Haha, read that at first as "struggling in bed and lacking in confidence"

Maybe should chose carefully who he changes next to.

He said avoiding cultural any stereotypes...

Dont know why but Im still struggling to accept that a bloke called Josh King is Norwegian.

Im perfectly happy to accept that Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Fikayo Tomori are English, but after two years of working with Norwegians (sweeping generalisation alert....lazy buggers by the way...) I cant recall a single Josh. Plenty of Mortens, certainly a Harald or two and quite a few Bents. No Joshs or indeed Kings.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I spent over 5 years working in Norway from 1979 to 1984. During that time I worked with a guy called Chas King, who, like the rest of the site team, wasn't averse to...ahem...putting it about a bit. When I came back Chas was still out there and Josh was born in 1992 so you never know, might explain the surname.

You should do some digging on that one gem to check if there is a connection. I had a holiday fling with a girl from Manchester whose family it turned out were the only Scholes in the Manchester phone directory at the time. Always wondered if she had a son that was a famous footballer, but the timing wasn’t right for me to be the father!

----------------------------------------------------------------------

He isn't being made a scapegoat.

He is on 4 yellow cards and has a proclivity for picking them up in most games he starts; as the stats and his record shows. He is therefore likely to pick up a yellow and be suspended in the next game or two.

People are worried about him being suspended at the same time as Neves if Neves were also to pick one up. They are worried as Saiss has done well and having two players out means a lot of adjustment to the side.

How anyone can see that as scapegoating someone I have no idea. As I said before, people get weirdly defensive over Saiss.

Saiss has had 300 competitive matches, including 38 for his country.

He's had 78 bookings, including 2 for his country.

Ignoring his yellow cards for Morocco, he gets a yellow card every 3.5 games he plays in. Never had a straight red and as cinci pointed out, only sent off once in his career for two yellows.

Ha, could well be. Did you find that the Norwegians were very good at going on holiday? I mean three weeks off at easter, all of July off, two weeks for christmas, plus other annual leave? Oh and 1pm on a Friday, everyone is "off to the cabin". Which I thought at first was euphemism for something interesting but no, they all seem to have cabins in the mountains that they feck off to on Friday afternoons.

Have quite literally had them get up and leave conference calls at one o'clock on a Friday.

I'm quite jealous.

Nobody in their right mind works on a Friday and the rest of the week should be optional.

Do all the shops still close at lunchtime on Saturday? They did when I was there.
The Norwegians say that the Brits live to work but they work to live. I think they have it right don't you?

Heard rumours yesterday that he had been or was about to be sacked, I guess they were true.

They will certainly look at Nuno as one of interest

posted on 19/11/19

Serious question, could Nuno be tempted if the money is right?

Probably.

Just seen a list of 8 contenders for the Spurs job.

Mourinho overwhelming favourite,

Nuno not on the list.
