I haven't said Ole is a better manager. I've said I don't know how good he can be, maybe poor, maybe excellent. There are promising signs, I want to see how he does.
Nobody on here knows how he will do in the future, except RDD.

Let's not forget Poch got less points than LVG in the 2 seasons they were managing in PL at same time and had a worse h2h.

I said the lack of investment (signings and wage structure) will cause an issue for them. But because they over performed, many didn't see this coming. Their best defenders want out. Their best midfielders for the past few years are underperforming and one wants out. Not replacing Walkwe properly is another issue they've not solved as he was key to how they played along with an on form, fit and valued Rose. Their keeper may be a world Cup winner but has been on the decline for some time. Signings like Ndombele and Le Celso should have been made a year ago at least. I'd see this as Levy's fault as much as anyone else is.

Lloris has been main reason Poch was in a job so long. Even number 2 has been saving him a lot. When you face so many shots per game as Spurs keepers do, it can be hard to not make an error.

He used to play for Newcastle, so it's not like he wasn't used to such situations before.

Yea I do. Poch has one cl final to his name and a team that finished the top 4 a few times.

Ole in has less managerial time and has a blot of cardiff to his name but has so far held his own at united whilst clearing shte and also has titles to his name.

This just proves what a complete fister this bloke is. Poch is clearly a much better manager than Ole. Honestly believe we are making a massive mistake not appointing him. Yes he has had a bad yr but who hasn't in their manageeial career. With the right backing financially and proven record with youngsters he could put us back up there. Hate to say but Ole isn't that man to do it

We’d havw taken Poch when Jose was asked, why not now? Ole has already said he’d quit if it was for the good of the club

Many thought the same (others thought differently) about LVG and getting in Jose after his spell at Chelsea. Same thing here. I think the guy needs time out.

But overall, Jose was a relative success at United.
