Slightly in the sense I reckon he's a very good fit for Spurs. They're a club with everything to prove & Jose thrives in those environments, it's the Real's & United's (even us 2nd time round) where he's found out of his element. They'll 100% win something if he goes there, no doubt in my mind.

Regarding a sense of disloyalty to us? No. He's Jose, he does what he wants. It'll be disheartening when he disrespects us in the media (just like when he was at United), but at the end of the day he is who he is. Gotta just accept it.

I don’t care from a loyalty perspective. Then again I’m not that emotionally invested in Jose, just not likeable. I actually think he could do reasonably well there. They do have a good squad, fully fit, that should be top four. Jose could probably get them top 4 and a some sort of trophy within 2 seasons, in his own way.

Personally I'm not bothered if he goes there. The philosphies of the two parties involved are so incompatible on so many levels, that if it were to not be an immediate roaring success, it could turn toxic very quickly. One thing for sure it will be interesting to see what happens.

I don't give a flying twaat either !,just lets not have his sour puss and rancid demeanour on our board every day !

Think its worse news for Spurs than it is for us

I'm more concerned that Poch could ultimately end up at United than Jose to Spurs.

I felt in 2016 and still do that Poch suited that job and ticked more of their boxes than Jose did/does.

I wouldn't like to think of Poch at United with money to spend. That could be quite a formidable prospect, given time.

I think you are probably right......although rumours are he wants to go back to masnage in Spain. Zidane does not have the fans confidence atm....watch that space...if RM lose a couple of games then i see Poch at the Bernabau

Poch is clearly a very good manager, and was unfortunate to be fired by Levy. Spurs fans (according to all the comments I have read) are very angry. Man Utd could do (are doing) a lot worse than hire Poch.

Mourinho is not wanted by any Spurs fans I have heard from. He does not play the free-flowing football that they want. He cuts an angry, bitter figure on the sidelines, and will make Spurs a much less likable team (although players like Dier and Alli were already doing a pretty good job of making them unlikable).

HOWEVER, one thing that Mourinho brings is an absolute belief that he will win. And (at least in the short term) he has a way to transfer that belief to his players - which is something that Poch does not (at least so far) seem able to do. He may not be able to keep up that "everyone is against us" routine for more than 2-3 years without the club imploding, but he will change the mentality of the players for sure. Perhaps they lack a genuine belief that they can win right now - but they won't by the time Mourinho leaves. Spurs fans may not like Mourinho, or the football his teams play. But they might like the mental strength that he brings to his teams. Spurs could now be genuine Premiership title contenders in a way that they have never been before.

I just hope that when we play them out fans don't make it all about Jose. Let's just ignore him.

I have absolutely no concern as to where he plies his trade - as long as it's not with us.

Agree with a lot of this.

Pochettino's time with Spurs had come to it's natural end, the CL final last year was the zenith. Doesn't discredit his work there what so ever (he'd be a fantastic replacement for Solskjaer as others have said), doesn't even mean Mourinho's a better manager, but they needed a manager of his profile ASAP.

Allegri would've been better, Conte had they made the move in the summer would've been ideal, but Mourinho's the right criteria of manager for what they need short term. They NEED a winning mentality injected into that club NOW, while they've still got a squad capable of winning. Even if Jose ultimately flops, by which I mean doesn't win anything before he leaves (which I find next to impossible with those players given what he likes in his squads), his mentality will spread through the club down to the players and fans making Spurs a credible threat down the line under future managers.

Obviously hope I'm talking out my a***, wouldn't be the first time, but yeah

He hasn't officially revealed his feelings yet Biggish apart from putting up a couple of funnies on the Whatsapp group, so it will be interesting to get his take on things. Watch this space.

Yes that's what they are paying £15m a season for
