That's the bottom line truth, and most United fans would admit to that. That's also why I think Jose has a better chance of doing much better than what he did at united. Spurs are a side that have been in the top 4 for few years in a row, and the same squad is still there. I am sure Jose is relishing the fact that he can now work with Kane, Dele, Son and the rest.

I can see it panning out more positively than even most spurs fans.

Might not be pretty, but a strong back 4 with alder and vertonghen back in the line up, winks and another destroyer in midfield and then hit teams on the counter with son,moura, alli and kane.

I wanted the way Poch's method of getting us to be a serial winners slowly. Made sense as a fan to see us grow.

But I feel Jose will give us a bump up the ladder, specially having Kane/Dele/Son at his mercy and Ndombele too.

Might make us feel giddy. I looked at his record, and you can only bow to that. Amazing, what he did at Chelsea. Transform that club. Transform their mentality too. I also heard him analyse the Spurs game the other day and for me he was spot on. He I think made an impression on Graeme Souness too who was at the show too.
Honestly, this could be the "rocket" up the backside Spurs needed.

Depends what state the Spurs players are in? I think Poch's methods took a lot out of the squad and like when Klopp's time at Dortmund came up the team ran out of steam.

If they're physically and mentally sound then Jose should be doing quite well with them, they're the 3rd strongest squad in the league. I don't think Jose is the manager he was 10 years ago but I reckon he can get this Spurs team doing well, the bigger issue for Spurs is what Jose does long term and the problems he will undoubtably have with Levy.

Ole has had more time with the United squad and there seems to be some signs of improvements. He has a weaker squad than Spurs though so on paper shouldn'tbe doing as well.

Spurs have also already played City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Leicester away whereas we haven't actually played anyone decent away so have arguably the tricker fixtures remaining.
